Ideally situated, close to the lake, eating and shopping areas. The hotel was well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern and clean, with pleasant balconies. Air conditioning worked! The hotel had a clean-looking swimming pool, (we did not have the time to use it). Plenty of warm water (always a plus), and the food - we had both lunch and breakfast there was good. Garden environment gave a feeling of an oasis - we would definitely book here again - if we come to Pokhara, perfect to rest up prior to our trek.

Room Tip: Not sure that there are any preferences - our room looked over the garden, and was quiet. We could a...

Large rooms in a pleasant garden setting. Close to all the shops and the lake. Good food with a varied buffet breakfast. It would be good if wi fi was included in the rooms but it is free in the restaurant area.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a mountain view but whilst I was there it was cloudy so unfortunately no view.

This is a comfortable, nicely laid out, clean and well located hotel in Pokhara. It is not a luxury hotel and is very basic, even though it is one of the only hotels with a pool in this area. The gardens are really lovely, mature trees, very green and lovely pool. Friendly hotel staff, but to be honest they were very basically trained and customer service is not great. Our room was clean, very basic, we did have hot water (had to run the tap for 10mins when we arrived!!) but the bathroom was very simple. Breakfast is a buffet and is also not great BUT you are in a developing country and its just not possible to get freshly squeezed juice, brown toast and poached eggs in a basic hotel like this! As long as you keep your expectations to a minimum you will not be disappointed.

Hotel Barahi is very well located a short walk from the main tourist drag at Lakeside. Rooms are fine - clean and reasonably well maintained though the beds are on the overly firm side. The rooms have tiled floors so would, I imagine, be cold in winter.

There's a decent, though small pool, the breakfast is fine and service fairly purposeful.

The main thing lacking is the lack of atmosphere - it's a large hotel full of tourists but doesn't have any stand out features.

A safe bet for a few nights sleep, but there are certainly nicer places to stay.

Comfortable rooms, excellent service, good breakfast, and overall, wonderful mountain view.
The garden as well as the swimming pool with bar are also very nice.
There are lots of restaurants and shops by walking distance, the lake is also very close.
The wifi is available but expensive, but I could survive three days without it.

Room Tip: Mountain view, up to 3rd floor
