My husband daughter and i stayed in this hotel very good location in Pokhara. we could walk around at our own leisure.Restaurants and shopping area were just walking distance from Tulsi Hotel. It was also so close to the lake. They have a good dinning area on the top floor with an excellent view of the Fish Tail mountain and lake view while we have our meals

Breakfast was good and served with such warmth you cant believe it. We came late for breakfast especially on the 1st day of our stay, when we went to see sunrise and they served hot with piping hot coffee. nice location and money's worth

Room Tip: Take the rooms facing the lake

Staff were lovely and the room had wonderful views, it DID have hot water and a great grassed outdoor area on my floor but the bed was as hard as a rock, the pillows were flat and the room smelt very musty and dank. It was very dated, like walking into 'great nanas' bedroom.

Rooms were a bit tatty, but very good views from the floor we were on (the top). Reasonable value at 2000 NRS per night with breakfast. Rooms had AC but we didn't need it at the time we went. Food at breakfast was good. Staff helpful. Water was hot.

Room Tip: You want to be at the top on the side away from the entrance to see the mountains.

I really liked this hotel (my standards were lowered while in Kathmandu). There was a heating and cooling unit in the room! They also provided 24 hour electricity regardless of the power outages. They have a rooftop restaurant that has great views of the surrounding mountains.

Beware though, they charge a whopping 150 NPR per kilo to have your laundry done. Walk one block to the main street and have one of the local shops do it for 60 NPR per kilo.

You can easily walk to the lake and there are many great bar/restaurants in the area. Some have shows with local dances and singing.

Also if you stay in Pokara you must Paraglide! There are many local business for this and the cost is about 8500 NPRs for 1/2 hr. (They offer a full hour as well but that is a long time to be in the air). They will drive you to Sarankot to the jump site and you will land at the lake. Totally worth the cost!

Room Tip: Remember this is still a 3rd world country, so manage your expectations. I really liked this hotel...

I am here for a week . Close to everything, great massages across the road! Rooms are a good size but very brown and dated, but the staff are great! Terrific views all around, food here isn't great but lots of good places nearby. If you do one thing here make it the Zip Line!

I stayed at this place for two nights. The rooms were very comfortable and well-lit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the restaurant at the top (fifth floor) has an amazing view of Lake Phewa and snow-topped mountains.

I am very satisfied and would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

After six bone jarring hours from Kathmandu, this place was heaven.
Very clean rooms with CARPET - which was excellent and powerful heating, hot showers and thick blankets. It is modern and has large windows and plenty of power points and good lighting.
The front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating and being behind the main street, the place was silent.
Electricity can be an issue, as with much of the country, so ask, esp if trying to charge something, they do have a generator. The breakfast from the rooftop cafe and the views, were also great. Is a great base for Pokhara and beyond.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher room that has a view.
