This place is beauty. I must say you will be just amazed to be there. Very close to forest and just besides the river. Staffs are helpful. Different activities organized by the resort are also good. Food could have been better and bit more cleanness is required to avoid insect in night time

I can't recommend this pace enough. Beautiful setting, knowledgeable and insanely friendly staff. A little piece of paradise inside hectic Nepal. I started for 3 full days to take advantage of all the things on offer. Staff bent over backwards for me. Even though I was traveling alone. Go, go, go

The only positive about this lodge was the staff. They went out of their way to help offset the small rooms, horrible food and less than clean lodging. The location on the river is nice. Where they take you for the "safari" is so heavily travelled and so close to villages and a main road that the chances for seeing a lot of wildlife are pretty slim. We did see one rhino each day and a lot of deer.

Location is everything and this resort has location location location. That gets it three stars in my book. The resort itself has fairly small rooms spotty hot water and water pressure and an open shower designed to spread water across the bathroom floor. Beds have thin padding and quite hard. The free wifi is only in the reception area and spotty at best. That said I give the place one extra star above average because of the helpful staff. Stayed here on a tour so can't comment on the price value proposition.

I stayed two nights at the Jungle Villa Resort as part of a tour group. The resort is situated on the Rapti river, with a restaurant and patio overlooking the river. Individual rooms share a cottage but have separate entrances, and each room has a balcony overlooking the river. The rooms are basic, but they are clean and well maintained. The resort staff were courteous and helpful. The resort provides some interesting activities, the best of which is a two-hour elephant ride across the river into Chitwan national park. Other activities include a one-hour ride in a dugout canoe (very good), followed by a jungle walk (not so good); and a visit by ox cart to a Tharu village (good). Rooms have electricity (semi-reliable) and there is Wi-Fi in the lobby. Restaurant food was good at every meal.
