“after eating here, everything else isn't as good anymore”
Reviewed 15 October 2011

Come here and order their SHARK'S FIN SOUP. Even if that's the only dish you order, your tummy will get its fill. It is served in a small earthen pot (about the width of the palm in diameter). It may be costly, especially for those who doesn't know how expensive shark's fin is; but if you do, the price you pay for it is very worth it! first of all, if you go to any other Chinese restaurants and order shark's fin soup, they never give that much fin as compared to Goldentop. Also, one can easily notice the viscosity of the soup that it's not because of the added flour or cornstarch in the ingredient, but mainly because of the fin itself together with the mushroom. Whether you add vinegar to your soup or not, it is the best you will ever taste. Some people prefer adding the vinegar to let the soup become more flavorful as it already is. If you love to eat spicy food, i suggest you just put a few so that instead of tasting the spiciness, you can actually savor the taste of the shark's fin.
