“Noodle soup is not bad but pricey”

Two bowl noodle soup with 1/4 goose meat cost NT500. The staff is not friendly. Crowded. Open after 10am.

“Tender goose meat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2013

Nice and juicy braised goose meat. Worth trying. Queu can be a bit long during meal time. Conveniently located in ximending and easy to find with the large signboard.

“Goose meat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2013

This place has a long history which started to sell duck meat initially but now it's selling goose meat. You can order noodle with soup and goose meat. Must try when in Ximending.

“Ya Rou Bian”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 December 2012

I dont know why people raved about this shop. The food is oily, the goose (not duck!) is tasteless, and it's expensive. Simply not worth!

“More hype than substance”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 October 2012

This restaurant at a busy corner of a street junction in XiMenDing is well known as it is periodically featured in Taiwanese TV infotainment programmes. I enjoy braised duck rice but I Can't rave about the version served at Ya Rou Bian. The portions are hearty but unfortunately the meat was rather tough. Would taste better if they had used smaller birds and served the meat in thin slices instead of chopping it into 1/2" thick pieces.
