“Pretty good!”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

We were upgraded from the grace room to a bigger garden room. We checked in late at night but our check in time was supposed to be 8pm as it was a weekend.
Hot tub conveniently located in our room. Hot tub looks clean and it filled up within minutes. Initially bath robes weren't provided, but when we called to ask for it, they promptly delivered the bath robes and even helped us with the hot tub. There are instructions provided on the hot tub. Only complaint of the room is the lack of power sockets at.
Buffet breakfast provided was pretty good, variety of bread and cheese, various types of juices.

Location wise, there is a steep fleet of stairs leading up to the hotel from the station (that's the shortcut). If not, the much longer way would be via a slope. 7-11 located directly opposite hotel.

We arrived late at the hotel. Room was ready, clean and tidy. Lobby and lift are quite fancy, modern style.
Room is large and 30% of it is used for the bathroom. Full amenities, all in color which is nice and different. There is also a large hotspring bathtub. Too bad, the view was not so good from our room. A good thing with the bathtub is that it will be filled up in 5 mns !
Breakfast is a traditional buffet, chinese/european. Overall ok except the eggs and the omelettes which are cold. Fruits were also a bit old....
Surrounding: 5 mns walk from the centre of Beitou and the MRT but far away from Taipei centre (1 hour by MRT). Weak point but nothing to do with the hotel, too many KFC, macdo and western fastfood around. Nothing local open after 8 pm except a Shabu Shabu around the corner.
The hotel is also located 10/15 mns away from the main hotsprings resorts?

I stayed 2 nights in hotel with hot spring in room. Location is good just 5 minutes walk from New Beitau MRT station with short cut opposite to watsons shop. If not, you have to walk double of distance and time to reach there. There are many shops nearby, watsons, KFC, wellcome, coffee shops and 7-eleven is just opposite to the hotel.

I went to the hotel at around 14:00 however the room was not ready to check in. Please make sure to check the check in time of the hotel. For week days is at 17:00 and 20:00 for weekends which is different from other hotels.

I booked a garden room, the bedroom was very small. I cannot open my luggage properly in a small room. Also, there is no view or even no window in the room. However, the bathroom is big with a large hot spring tub which I was looking for. In general, the room was clean and tidy. Hot spring tub was well sanitized. They also provided bath salt with lavender smell and candle which was so relaxing when you having the hot spring.

Room has air conditioning but with no warm air (even they have the button). A bit cold in room at the night time and during sleep.

Breakfast area is small just only have 8 tables with 32 seats. However, the variety of food is large. Salad, fruits, eggs, ham, bread selections, juices, and even have rice and hot buns.

Self-service laundry room located on G/F with soap provided and just only TWD10 each.

Hotel is well-decorated. Staff are friendly, young and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a big room with view

The hotel room is nice and spacious. Location wise should be quite good and it's opposite a 7-11 which is convenient anytime you need something.

However the room is not really clean. Spotted flower petals in my hot spring area. Had to clear them myself. Then the pillowcases are not clean.

This is the first time we stayed at a hotel in Taiwan so please understand I have no point of reference. We first arrived at the Sweetme Hotspring Resort which situated on the main road. After calling around the well-rated hotels in Trip Advisor, Aqua Bella quoted us the lowest price at NT$3800 for a standard room and it turns out less than a 10 minute walk up a road behind the Sweetme (5 minutes if you can locate the staircase shortcut). The hotel is small but has a nice modern decor. The bedroom itself was small by American standards, but the bathroom is the same size as the bedroom, with a very nice and clean hot spring jacuzzi big enough for several people. Later in the evening, they sent a tasty sesame dumping dessert up which was a nice touch. The morning breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had - really amazing, with a really nice selection of Asian/Western offering. Again though, this was the first hotel I stayed at in Taiwan and maybe this is the norm here. The only problem we had was the poor ventilation with only a single window in the bathroom, so we had to leave the bathroom door open through the night which would be find usually, but the lingering sulfur smell from the hot spring water bother my wife.

This is a very nice little hotel for the Beitou area. Its stylish and well furnished and the ensuite hot spring rooms are well designed.

Rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is quite helpful.

Only downside is the late check-in timing, mine was about 9pm by the time the room was ready. So need to plan this part properly.

Great hotel room with nice hot spring bath tub for family. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Enjoy the stay at lot, especially after a tiring day shopping and eating, you can enjoy the hot spring soak in your own room with your loved ones.
