If you like to know more about Taiwan's history and want to learn it more interestingly rather than from a dull book ,then it's a must visit place for you. Besides , like other places in Taiwan , the stuffs are extremely friendly and helpful!

“Sprawling grandeur”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

Loved two things about this place. One, it hosted pro-democracy movements in the 1990s that led to popular elections in Taiwan. Hence, it is also officially called the Liberty Square. Second, the marble facade emits different colors at various times of the day. Amazed how the shade changes from pure white, light blue, pale yellow, soft orange, vibrant pink, wispy violet and finally indigo in a matter of hours before and after sunset. Great place to linger about with a big cone of ice cream and an eye for aesthetics...
