“Good on a colder day”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Hotspring on a day of over 100 degrees fahrenheit just doesn't sound too inviting, so aside from taking a look, I did not take a dip to experience the sulferic bath. Natural hotspring is wonderful for your circulation and I would recommend this place once after autum arrives... Communal hotsprings with changing rooms and bathrooms. Remember to bring a swimsuit or you'll need to purchase one.

“A tourist trap”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

Don't really think is worth the price to make a trip down and go for the hot spring. It is very expensive as compared to the other attraction in Taipei. Also, do consider that you won't spend so long in the hot spring, the price is too exp.

“Hot Spring”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

What is a visit to taiwan if you do not try the hot spring. In Beitou, there are so many hotels offering the private or public shared hot springs. It is one amazing experience to try out their hot spring as well.

“Unforgettable night”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

We went to Beitou at 7:30 after we visited Tamsui, knowing that they would open until 10 pm and it would be cooler temperature-wise for us to enjoy the hot spring. It was very cheap, as everyone mentioned, and you can just bring your swim suits along and hop in :) We enjoyed it immensely. Don't forget to bring towels (we bought two cheap ones in 7 eleven on our way to the spring)!
