Very clean, very friendly, a computer for guest and free internet, it is located in a very small and pittoresque street ; It is located in old town and we can go to the great temples by walking. Very pleasant to stay in. We stayed 5 nights, We payed about 500 bath from the international airport. I recommand this guest house. J.PARIS

Room Tip: some rooms don't have toilet, you have to choose what you want

Very clean, very good, staff is just wonderful. The location is excellent for exploring of Bangkok - walking distance to Grand Palace, Wat Suthat, Wat Po and express boat pier. Overall it's a nice guesthouse, not hostel.

We stayed for four nights in a deluxe room (i.e. with en-suite). The room wasn't the biggest but certainly big enough. The house is located off a safe alley in a non-touristy area (see more authentic Bangkok) but close-ish to the big sites (grand palace, etc) - around fifteen minutes walk away (closer than many guest houses) and five to ten minutes to Khao San Road.
The guest house itself is spotlessly clean and the staff all smiles and helpful. Also worth noting that there is a computer with internet access for free in the basement.
Breakfast is good with several variations available.
All in all a great alternative to a bland hotel and would happily stay again.

This is not a hostel--as evidenced by the prices. It is a relatively upscale, quiet guesthouse. This guesthouse is all you ever need in Bangkok. Located close to the Democracy monument. The staff is lovely! The rooms are very clean. A pity that the hot water was never hot and varied between cold and luke warm.
Still, a good values for money

Arrived in Bangkok after 23 hours of flying and slightly wary but boy were we overjoyed at our choice. We walked everywhere easily from Grand Palace, to National Museum, to Wat Pho. No reason to take taxi for sights. Yes, the first alley is a little dirty but the one the guesthouse is on is wonderful and local folks abound. All the alleys and streets were grimy and coming 'home' to Baan Dinso was a wonderful relief. Spotless. Excellent food. Perfect staff. We're at the Le Meridian in Chiang Rai now and Baan Dinso is sorely missed for all those three reasons. Be sure to print out and give the taxi driver the map provided when you reserve. Also, hint is to use AOT service from the airport . . . quick and clean..little more cost but well worth it after a flight. Hightly recommend BD and you'll see why. You will miss them when gone. ****Very cool all teak house. Please step quietly throughout. Oh, HUGE LIBRARY in basement.

Room Tip: Go for the deluxe room. The one on first floor behind the counter and across from the lockers. Ver...

The hostel (although it's more a hotel) is located conveniently close to the main sights in Bangkok, but is fairly quite if you don't want the kaoh san road noise. Nice rooms, large enough for me, although some people might find them a bit small. The hotel is exceptionally tidy with very good facilities. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accessible - which is nice after some awful experience I had in Bangkok before. Overall, great place to stay - but don't expect a classic hostel.

We didn't want to leave!! The rooms were beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean, the staff went above an beyond their call of duty, the location was very close to attractions and transport but tucked away from street noise..... I could go on and on!
TIP: it can be a little tricky to find initially, and many cab drivers do not speak English nor can they read maps. I would request directions in Thai from the proprietors before embarking on your travels.
