“Oasis in the midst of a whirling city”

This guesthouse is perfectly situated in walking distance to many tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace and the Khaosan Road. On the other hand it provides the intimacy and silence you need in the evening or during siesta when being on tour all day long.
Choosing this hostel you should be aware that not all the rooms are equipped with own toilets/bathrooms. Due to the limited number of rooms there are'nt too many people using the shared toilets and washrooms. In fact we never saw anybody else using it and the cleanliness was perfect. The staff was very kind and polite, the breakfast delicious, although tea could not been offered for 3 days in a row (shouldn't be a big problem to get it in a couple of minutes ...) - what a pity!
But on the whole our stay was pleasant and nice. If we'd come back to Bangkok we'd choose the same hostel again. We can therefore recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Consider that not all the rooms are equipped with own toilets and bathrooms. But as mentioned: the s...

Welcomed by friendly smiling staff. More like a hotel than a hostel.

Excellent location for the temples/river and not a high rise building in sight.

Thought it would be noisy by the road, not at all and slept really well. If you want noise Khao San Rd with street markets and food stall is just round the corner.

Yes, single rooms are small but good value with excellent/quiet air-con and a large double glazed window. The shared bathroom is as good as any 4 star hotel.

They will store your bag and even let you use the shower facilities once you have checked out. The staff are just so nice.

I really liked this place and will definitely stay here again.

Great location in a non-touristy but central part of downtown Bangkok. Beautifully restored old house, peaceful front garden. Lovely room and bathroom, quiet location. Good AC. Staff were gracious and helpful. Pretty good breakfast, but could be improved if they offered a bit more variety and fresh milk for tea and coffee would be greatly appreciated. Laundry came back promptly. Located close to some great little restaurants such as Krua Apsorn.

The hostel located on great location, near to China town and shopping mall. Our room was cozy and comfortable. Staffs were welcoming and offered great shuttle service. Breakfast was simple but okay( included in room rate). Spent two nights here was great and would recommend.

We stayed there for three nights. The room and the house in general were nicely decorated and very clean. Even though it was near a busy street, it is quiet inside the house. We were able to walk to lots of sight-seeing places from there. The staff were very helpful and friendly, except for one unfriendly house cat!

All was excellent, except the additional bed, we required ( just a mattress put on the floor).
The calm and the beauty of the traditional house had been very appreciated (we can't imagine we're in the centre of BKK City.
We recommend ;-)
