“Best place to stay”
Reviewed 24 May 2013 via mobile

If you want to stay in a peacefull, relaxing place in the centre of the old town and in walking distance of Khao San Road, than you should stay in Baan Dinso!
I stayed here for four nights with my husband in the second week of May. We loved it! Very friendly staff who makes you feel at home, clean room which was and beautifull decorated, and spotless showers and toilets.
Breakfast was also great. We really would book this hostel again when we return to Bangkok.

This place is amazing. It is super cozy, ridiculously clean and the staff are very friendly. We couldn't believe that we found this amazing little place for such a reasonable price. We highly recommend staying here.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Keep your sanity during your trip to hectic Bankok and stay here. Best staff, A/C common room, the rooms were simple, clean, quiet and safe. Breakfast was AWESOME. Can't ask for much more!

We stayed here 3 nights and had a great stay. They only have 6 rooms and it use to be the owners family home. It has been extensively renovated with great attention to detail. It is impeccably clean and well cared for. The rooms are of a good size, though I would not call them spacious. The bed is very comfortable, but they could do with a wardrobe to hang clothes in. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The reason I did not give it 5 stars is no fault of the hotel, it's that the walls are very thin and you are at the mercy of your neighbour, the hotel does have polite signs advising people to minimize noise though.
All in all, a great value for money boutique hotel, which is extremely well located to the temple, Royal Palace and Kao San Road.

very beautiful place, great atmophere, very nice staff , everything you expect for that price (very expensive for bangkok). BUT only for families who don't want to sleep in the morning : my room was probably the worst : 101. breakfast is served under the windows of the room if you have the luck to have a family at the same time, it will sound like they're having breakfast in your room ! i was there for new year eve : went to bed at 3 am was up at 7 due to first customers.. and beakfast close after 9.30. Also never waited that long for breakfast : 45 minutes for a pad thai !!

so its perfect if you are the kind who wakes before 7 am ... otherwise any 5 dollard room is better

Room Tip: never take the 101. don't know for other room but its an old house, there no sound insulation

Baan Dinso is a very very nice hostel. You'll feel like home staying there. Every corner is neat and artistic. The room is very comfortable, nice combination of color and furnitures. Although there's no swimming pool and limited space. Well, what you need is actually having a nice tea in the yard with candles, listening to guitar. I'd like to stay there again next time:-)

Room Tip: actually there's a bus station near by if you want to go to the shopping center, it's more c...

Althrough this is the third time for travel in Thailand but I think the staffs in this place is the best service.
