“Very Clean Hotel & Very Professional Staff”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

I stayed at the hotel from 17th to 20th of April 2014. I stayed on 5th floor. The hotel is very clean and nicely maintained. The wash rooms were very clean and nicely maintained. Wifi reception is very good. The price you pay is very much economical. The location is also very good. Cabs and tuk tuk are easily available just outside the hotel. Foreign exchange counters are also available very nearby. The shopping malls and markets are also situated at around 1-2 kms distance, where you can reach by walking for around 10-15 minutes or can take tuk tuk. The staff is very polite however, they are not very fluent in speaking English language, but the attitude was very professional.

The hotel is good in all respects except unavailability of Indian food in breakfast considering many tourists of Indian origin residing in the hotel.Though the air conditioner gives crisp fresh air, the windows are sealed and you cannot breathe in fresh air in your room.

Well...may be if cost is the only factor...then good..other wise a very mediocore place..with horrible ac...we were supposed to be in a family room with 2 bedroom...but it was like two queen size beds in the same room...extremwly uncomfortable....plus no room service at all..no ketle for tea and cofee.. wash room is clean...
The advantage is the proximity to shopping area like indra market...but generally a big thumbs down

The hotel is greatly located near Indira Market, surrounded by restaurants, street food stalls, message and spa parlours, Seven Eleven stores. The area is neither posh nor cheap, its not the best but not even bad, what else you can get for 1500 INR. There are guest charges of 500 Bhats here ;-).
Its a no smoking hotel.

Went to bangkok with my parents and wife as a short family trip and stayed at this hotel in bangkok. It is just an average hotel with small rooms, adequate furnishing. Location is good for those who go to bangkok for shopping as it is close to the bargain shopping paradise indra market, but far enough to drown out the din of the market itself. The restaurant serves only breakfast which is adequate , but we had to go to hotels opposite it for the rest of our meals. A train stop is also close by the hotel and as in anywhere in bangkok , yuk yuk drivers are there to hassle u at every bend.
Also the view from most of the rooms is of a back alley which is not very clean and hence we kept the curtains closed.
Its a good hotel for the price point but i will look for a better place if i visit bangkok again.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the street in front and not the back alley

Ecotel - a nonsmoking hotel with well maintained rooms although toilets have standing shower only. Hotel staffs are cooperative and what i like the most is the breakfast spread. This hotel is near to Indramarket and many Indian Restaurants. Hotel rate is very much valued.

I stayed in this hotel once before and was very satisfied. However on this occasion we were initially given a room where the shower door opened against the toilet leaving a 10cm gap for one to enter the shower. Unless you had the physique of an anorexic it was impossible to enter the shower. When I booked I was apparently given the cost EXCLUDING breakfast but this was not pointed out. On our first morning we were given breakfast vouchers which we used, only eating a very light breakfast. On the second day our vouchers were refused although we were allowed to dine. On our departure the following morning we were presented with an additional bill of B800. When I protested I was smilingly informed that the error was made by a clerk who was new to the staff. I pointed out that the first morning the vouchers were given to us by the senior male reception clerk but this made no difference. They acknowledged that the error was theirs but that I had to pay for it. The amount was fairly small but for the meals we ate it was exorbitant. Would I stay here again? Probably but I would be a darn sight more careful about small items.

Room Tip: Be careful about "extras"
