I booked 2 nights here after reading a lot of very positive reviews about this place. It didn't work for me. So, I only stayed 1 night. The location is not very conveniant. You need a taxi to get anywhere (even to the closest BTS station) This can be a bit difficult at night, when most taxi drivers refuse to use the meter and charge ridiculous amounts of money to get you back to the hotel. You need a lot of patience.
It is in a very quiet neighbourhood though. The reception area and garden are just fantastic
The privat room is basicly a bed in a dorm, but instead of a screen to put a door in front. It's tiny! 2 single beds are squeezed in there. When I arrived the bed looked like somebody had just slept in it and they didn't change the linnen. The sheets had several holes in it and there were some red and brown stains on it. When I asked them to change this, they did, but the new sheets where only slightly better. So that's not really worth 29 U$.
The people are friendly and the service is OK, except for the fact that their kitchen is open 'till 10 PM (says on the menu), but when you want to order some food at 9 they tell you the kitchen is already closed.More
