What a find! After more than ten years or staying in various hotels Sukhumvit near NaNa station, this is the very best! I love *good value*, and this place has it. It also has *charm* which I also love.

With the ever-present golf cart shuttle to NaNa station, you practically step out of the station and arrive at the front door of the hotel, yet you are completely away from all the noise. Ultra quiet.

Actually has a *delicious breakfast* and lots of charming little decorative touches.

Fresh paint, new bathroom fixtures and even a has a bathtub which is a must for me but sometimes hard to find.

To cap it all, I left some medicine in the refrigerator behind which meant a large hassle for the hotel staff to ship it to me. They were incredibly helpful- way above and beyond he call of duty.

My only hope is that this wonderful place won't get so crowded and discovered that there will not be a room for me every time I come to Bangkok.

Room Tip: It's such a quiet street that all the rooms should be quiet. I was right near the elevator but d...

Nice and comfortable, quiet (almost) and clean. A perfect interpretation of a positive understatement. Just two little remarks: TV, almost zero international channels SERVICE, keep a mosquito spray at the reception. I will be back

This hotel is just average when it comes to the rooms and the bathrooms. Not bad but not the prettiest or the cleanest. The internet is very good and was always available. The staff very friendly and nice. There is a free shuttle to take you to Sukhumvit Rd and the Nana BTS station which is right at the beginning of Soi 8. Very convenient! Breakfast buffet was not bad.
They asked us to change rooms not once but twice! The first time they said that they were upgrading the fire alarm system on our floor. The second time it was because there was a problem with the sink and they couldn't fix it. The good part was that they moved us to a bigger room with lots of space. If it wasn't for the pain of having to move twice our time there would have been great. I do recommend to spend a little extra money on the bigger (Deluxe) rooms if you can.

Room Tip: Get a Deluxe room if you can, they have lots of space.

A secluded little gem in the middle of Sukhumvit, still tranquil enough to be able to get a proper night sleep for next days adventures. It's about half the price in comparison to the giants next door, still cute and personal.
What makes a hotel like this stand out is off course the staff (yes, its cute and apart from that neither swimming pool nor fitness). One of the ladies in the reception speaks fluent Swedish, the helpful breakfast lady went out of her way to assist me to look for an apartment to rent a longer time, and even showed me a place close by, the Bell-boy is a little shy but always on purpose.
But most of all a big great thank you to Khun Wann; with her professional still authentic attitude, perfect English, service minded and genuinely carrying. I would be surprised if a small hotel like this can keep her much longer.
I also recommend Salil Soi 11, just as as good but a bit more noisy.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little place . And by how quiet Soi 8 is . Tucked away up Soi 8 , about 300 mts from Sukumvit rd , is the Salil Hotel . The staff are more like what you get at 5 star places . Good English language skills , polished and professional , but smiling and friendly as well . Their little electric golf cart will ferry you back and forth to the end of the street , and at the Sukumvit rd end it is only 20mts to the Nana BTS escalator .
I was surprised how quiet the rooms are . Air con worked well , mini bar was fully stocked . Good big digital safe for valuables . Bed was very comfy with 4 pillows . Everything clean and tidy , if just a little worn . But a little wear and tear adds a human dimension to a place.
The street is narrow and quiet , once you get 100mts away from the main rd . , there seems to be a lot of higher end apartments in the street . A 7/11 is 150 mts away towards Sukumvit rd for any suplies you need and they are the happiest 7/11 workers I ever met !
This place is good , very good . As Arnie would say " I'll be back"

stayed 3 nights at a Superior Room Double including breakfast.

location is great, it's a slow 10-15 minutes walk from the Nana BTS station. you can call for a buggy service (so its recommended to get a local simcard beforehand)
because it's deeper into the Soi and away from the hustle & bustle of Sukhumvit...it's really very peaceful and quiet at night

staff are very friendly and breakfast selection was more than adequate although buffet servings are small and you may need to wait awhile while they replenish.

The Superior Room has all the amenities you need but the size is a little cramped. And the color scheme is quite striking initially (tip: visit the other floors)

Overall, a wonderful stay and will visit again

Room Tip: the room on the right (when exiting the lift) on the 2nd floor the same level as neighboring buildin...
