Extremely easy access from Ram.. Station (over the road from it) and it's all sign posted from the airport..

However the beds were very uncomfortable and could feel the springs which was disappointing even when paying a few quid a night.

Basic and outdated but expected for such a cheap hotel.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, however I wouldn't stay for over a night as it's too far out from Bangkok and very hard to sleep as it's loud at night and it has poor beds.

Very good stopover hotel, very popular and excellent value. Easy access from the airport by train on the City Line, right next to the train station. Don't get hung up about the deposit on check in, you get it back and I like it better than swiping my credit card, after all they probably have have had people trying to rip them off. Try the buffet breakfast, very good selection at a reasonable price. I shall certainly stay again, especially if they keep on with their deals.

Hotel is a bit old but rooms are still in good condition and comfortable. It is close to the Airport Rail Link which makes commuting very easy though the rooms facing the rail line are quite noisy. The fitness centre is also very well equipped though it can be warm in the afternoon. As a whole great value for money and highly recommended.

Very good hotel to stay. Next to Ramkhamhaeng Station (Airport Link). Staff very helpful, professional and spoke a good English. Fast room service but food quality is not the best. Great location near Sukhumvit soi 71.

I am amazed at some of the reviews here. Yes, the hotel is old. Yes, some of the rooms are a bit damp and it can get noisy. People need to remember that this is a $15 a night hotel and for that price I do not know of any place on this Earth where you are located to a major transportation hub (in this case an Airport Link). I have never experienced rude service. The deposit asked is maybe a bit much, but this could be due to a type of guests that come here. I would not recommend this place for a family, but I have always found this place to be clean. A much better alternative than staying at KSR.

i stayed here for 4 nights. upon check in, we had to wait until 4 pm to get to the room. the bellsboys are awful. they just watched me struggled with my bags. i think ones name is AMPHAN?! not sure, something like that. in the positive side, the ladies in the reception spoke good english. so while waiting for the room to be ready, we ate in the restaurant which is right beside the reception area. we ordered some sandwiches priced from 140-250 baht. served in a very big plate, it was ok, but kinda dry, nevertheless, filling. so finally the room is ready. it was so so. very far from the website photo. its old and very basic. see the photos and judge for yourself. the bedsheets are itchy, the carpet is dirty. on the plus side, we were on the 14th floor, so we were afforded with a 'view' of bangkok (see photo). on a positive note, they clean the room daily, changed towels, etc. upon checkout, we had to wait for a few minutes again to be checked out. the reception is very classy, i cant say the same for the bellboys and the basic room.

I stayed here for 3 days. Very cheap price, I couldn't believe in Bangkok they have hotel costs less than $11, even in Jakarta we never get a great hotels costs less than $11.
At concierge desk you have to make deposit around 1500 B, so don't forget to exchange your money first.

I've got a room on 20th floor, the lift just reached until 19th floor and I continued using upstairs.
The room was not really spacious, but really fit, big bedroom (unfortunately the bedroom was hard) with thin blanket and four pillows, air-con (old fashioned air-con but cool enough), desk and small bathroom with bath tub and amenities, and big cupboard.

Television provided there and mini bar also (notice here for mineral water you should pay 25 B).

Eventhough the hotel was nearby to Rakhamhaeng Station, overall the atmosphere there was not really crowded, I think because Rakhamhaeng is an outside downtown, not like Siam, Sumkhumvit and surround there.

I love the CS staff in night shift, you should meet him if you want to have detail information about where you should spend your day in Bangkok.
This guy was really informative and gave me detail information about the transport, the event, and the culinary in Bangkok. You must meet him, he could spend almost 15 minutes and explained all of the things about Bangkok passionately. I've met him two times and satisfied with what he'd explained me. On Sunday I went to Valiem Floating Market, where people feed the monk, such a great ritual, and no tourist there. I was the luckiest tourist one. Thanks a lot!!

You can go to shop at Ramkhamhaeng Market, in front of Ramkhamhaeng Mall. Great value as well. Don't forget to try Thai Massage. I have recommended place to do Thai Massage in front of Ramkhamhaeng Mall named Suthoi Massage or kinda like that, I forgot the name. xD

For wifi it costs 150 B/24 hr.

Room Tip: - I stayed on 20th floor and it was nice, not crowded, but you have to go upstairs after 19th floor...
