Yup, avoid it. It's cheap, but there are many reasons for that: the rooms are dirty and smelly, service is not great to say the least (check in/check out so slow...), you will have to pay to use the wifi.
Location is not that bad, although definitely not central, but an overground is available 2 min from the hotel.

I don't really use Tripadvisor to write reviews, but when I do, it's because I want to warn people to not let a hotel or service ruin their trip.

Avoid this place. It is certainly affordable, but they will charge you for wifi and a 1000 baht deposit at the entrance. This makes for an unnecessarily tiresome checkout process; I've never had to wait to check out of a hotel before in any of my trips. The receptionists are unapologetic and tell you to wait at the sofa.

The rooms are VERY dated - the walls are cracked, wallpapers are peeling off, and the bathrooms are in even worse conditions. I seriously considered not showering in the room. Some travelers will say that the price of this "hotel" justifies their stays, but to be honest, you can spend the same amount of money on another accommodation for far better value and FREE wifi.

It is NOT value for money when you consider all of these annoyances and lackluster service. At the lobby, I tried to use an outlet to charge my laptop when the manager came out and said that I couldn't use the outlet. I told him that I had misplaced my adapter, and that my room did not have the right outlet. He grunted and walked away at my explanation.

Horrible service and attitudes are shared by the staff here, wifi is charged, and the rooms needed a renovation years ago. Avoid this and use your money somewhere else.

I have just spent 8 nights at this hotel and for the price you cant beat it, the hotel is a bit dated and the rooms need up grading but overall its worth staying here.
8 nights cost me only £126 so how can you complain at that.
Its good location for getting around Bangkok
Give it a try

Room Tip: For a good nights sleep get a room at the back then you dont here the train

The Nasa Vegas is great value for money. The rooms are what you'd expect for a three star. Having stayed at this particular hotel on many occasions I have found that you'll sometimes get a room with unwelcome marks to the furniture, such as biro ink scrawled along a desk, or the door peep hole filled with paper. But at other times the rooms are very clean and well presented.

The beds are quite soft and the the TV has a good selection of channels.

Arriving at Bangkok Airport, the first thing you want to do is go to your hotel for a shower. Nasa Vegas is conveniently located at one of the stations along the airport link. Definitely value for money as the rooms are clean and spacious, bedding adequate, and the shower does what it should do give hot and cold water and everything in between. When you expect a gourmet breakfast buffet, you may be disappointed, but what to expect for this ridiculous low price, THB 750? If in transit, this hotel is perfect. It may not be the location for entertainment but who cares after a long flight. Next to the entrance is a train track. Try to get a room on the other side of the hotel as the airlink also passes by your window on that side. In that respect, the rooms are not sound proof. Nevertheless strongly recommended. A/C a bit loud but adequate.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back side as the rooms aren't sound proof as airlink and a train pass the...
