“Would stay again for convenience”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

It is a minutes walk from the station. Massive hotel with over 20 floors. We got an upgrade to a bigger room. The room is really large. Clean and neat. Bed really hard which I loved but my husband found uncomfortable. Our room was on the street side, so early morning traffic was quite loud. Unfortunately no free Internet in the hotel, 150 baht gets you 24hrs Internet. Found two English Channels, one of which was a movie channel which was great. Mini fridge stocked, and mini bathroom had toiletries and clean towels available. For under £10 a night I can not fault this hotel. Only 4 stops away on the skyline from the airport so was excellent for us as we were heading to Malaysia the next day. Restaurant downstairs in the lobby. Didn't eat there, but had a delicious dinner down the road by some street vendors for only 40 baht. They have bellboys. Check out before 12. I would stay again. Baht 30 to take train from the airport.

My concern is privacy and safety - I was awakened one night and found an African lady presenting whom i knew ,luckily .from some 2 years early- I was concerned bcos i was not known to be in Bkk and for my room number to be so easily accessible and then her presentation to my room does offer concern- I was booked for a further 2 days -but left . Why my concern? bcos my visits to Bkk are being disturbed by African men and women asking for assistance ,in restaurants on street -now rooms- for money for overstay visas food and it is becoming plague proportion-- security and non invasion Must be a priority in a hotel -- i will return sure -- but not yet

Room Tip: opposite side to railway

Nearby to Airport Link BTS so going to new BKK airport is very convenient, with covered walkway all the way to the BTS station, about 10mins walk via overhead bridge.
However, room look aged and no free mineral water and wifi. Also as the hotel just beside railway track hence can hear train passing by if you are staying in room facing the railway track (I think even no. rooms). Nevertheless, I think it is still value-for-money if booked at offer price.

Room Tip: suggest you choose odd no. rooms unless you prefer hearing train passing by occasionally.

Nasa Vegas Hotel is located near Ramkhamhaeng ARL Station (To reach here please take the city line instead of express) . From outside the hotel looks pretty impressive. Location of this hotel isn't bad and suitable for all kind of travellers. To go city centre or other areas in Bangkok, you can take ARL to Phaya Thai and take BTS train from there.

Rooms are nowhere near 3 star class but you get what you are paying for. So no complaint. Reception staffs are okay, I had no issues with the service.

Lots are street food places are nearby, you can walk around and explore. Ramkhamhaeng night market is not far from this place, but you should take a taxi or bus.

Overall the hotel and the location is suitable for all kinds of travellers unless you are too fussy about things.

Staff members were very nice and polite. Rooms were clean; however, they had old furniture and equipment. Fair stay for the price. Inconvenients were that you had to pay for the Wi-Fi and the location; it is far from the heart of Bangkok and organized activities do not want to pick you up at the hotel. Close to a metro station. Breakfast was not included. Would recommend for low budgets.

1000baht deposit that they don't tell you about when booking. Wifi is $5 a day. First place in SE Asia that we have had to pay for wifi. Convenient to the airport but wouldn't recommend for tourism purposes. Rooms old and outdated but clean.
