We stayed in a suite which was lovely and had all the services needed including kitchenette and laundry facilities. The room was very clean and had great views over the Bangkok skyline.
We stayed with our adult children and found that the hotel lacked basic entertainment facilities such as a bar and restaurant.
Good location close to 2 BTS stations and a number of major shopping centres. The pool area was lovely however the poolside menu lacked variety. Our breakfast was good but below the standard that is available in other Hotels of this qulaity.
All staff were polite and very helpful.

Room Tip: Beaware that if you have issues with height that you should request a room on a lower level at the t...

Room Tip: high floor on the golf side, the best view in the city...

Very comfortable, large (44 sqm), & fully-featured room 4506 (only 5 from the top floor) gives you a great south view of Bangkok (photo). Fully equipped with a large fridge, microwave, stove top, toaster, cooking utensils & cutlery. Strong wifi signal in the room, easy to use with multiple devices at once. Large, nice foyer with free drinks, & the restaurant serves a decent range at breakfast. Friendly & efficient staff in all areas. 5 minutes walk to Ratchadamri BTS station (from the airport take the airport train to Phaya Thai station, then change to BTS line to stop at Ratchadamri - travel time about 45 mins). Central World, Siam Paragon, & MBK shopping centres are a 10, 20, & 30 minutes walk away respectively. Many popular eateries in Central World, but try Coffee Beans by Dao for great food & cakes (go off peak as it is very popular). For great seafood try Somboon, Nathong, Supatra, or Baan Klang Naam (depending on how far you are prepared to go). If you get a good deal this is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Room 4506 is a good choice as will most rooms facing south - nice views of Bangkok.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Bangkok. We loved the location and pool area.

The hotel is great but it lacked a "luxury" feel. The hallways and rooms had a sterile ambience.

Overall it delivered on everything...breakfast, room, location but just lacked a certain charm that most Bangkok hotels have. I would stay here again if the price was right...but would most likely try a more authentic Thai hotel next time.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel during mid June 2012 for 3 nights in their Grand Suite. The room was not ready during our arrival so they arranged for late check out for us. It was great since our flight was in the evening. The room was clean & new. There was a super king-size bed that can accommodate my family of 2 adults + 2 kids. Bed was comfortable. There was a standing bath, bathtub & hair dryer in the bathroom. My family enjoyed the room, the swimming pool, reading room, steam bath & jacuzzi during our stay. My kids liked the TV channels very much. The breakfast was good. It is very near to the major shopping malls and around 5 mins walk to the nearest MRT. It is good for value and we will stay here again for our future trip to Bangkok.

It's cheap, which is great. And the staff are polite,. We've been here two nights now. On both nights it was an arduous task to get a bed sheet - the idea that you may not want a quilt was quite strange to the staff. That's fine, but it was really hard work getting one.

We just ordered a couple of burgers, medium-rare. They arrived raw (cooked barely on the outside). We called up and they sent someone who said 'that is medium rare'. We insisted it wasn't (we know what medium-rare is, believe me) and he took it away. It arrived back - same burgers with a couple of bites out. They'd actually removed the patties and cooked them, leaving the rest of the burger somewhere inappropriate, as it was all warm and soggy, including the buns. Disgusting.

Other than this poor experience, the room is quite old and has various things half broken (towel rail, bath plug release) or worn. It presents exceptionally well, but under the surface it's not that great.

Breakfast is really average. I think I'll stick to toast and fruit, as most other things are not very good.

Pool appears to be very nice, but we haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Saving grace for this place is the staff, who are polite and try to be helpful. The location is also very good, close to the Sky Train and Siam Square shopping district.

I don't think we would stay here again though. There are plenty of other hotels around here.

Room Tip: Avoid room service

Thank you very much for bringing the problem to my attention. I will discuss with Restaurant Manager to improve our service and investigate for the sub-standard service. Also discuss
with Housekeeping Manager to recheck our properties to be ready for service our customer.
And I hope that we will have an opportunity to welcome you both to Grande Centre Point in your next visit to Bangkok.

I stayed at the Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri for 4 nights in early June 2012. Be aware that there are several Centre Point hotels in close proximity so be very careful and precise in giving directions to people visiting you, taxi's etc.

The hotel has an impressive foyer, useful for meeting people and having a cold or hot drink. The hotel caters strongly to the Asian market so the breakfast buffet reflects that but I found it quite ok for a western type breakfast - eggs cooked as required etc. The rooms where good, clean and well maintained. I just had the standard room. The location is close to several very large and good shopping malls - about 5 minutes walk. The sky train is also quite close. Like a lot of Thai hotels the staff are friendly but have only a small grasp of English. This is makes it difficult when there is a problem or when you need to change things - as I did when extending my stay for one night - with problems with payment, room key access and breakfast vouchers.

This is also one of those hotels where you need to use your room card to use the elevators. A security measure I know but it can be annoying in busy periods.

I would have no problems staying again.
