“Good neighbours make good stay at this B&B”

Saladaeng Inn is a very cozy, clean, neat hotel. It is very well designed with light pastel colours that make the place refreshing in appearance. I also like the hotel because it is smoke-free: guests who want to smoke have to get out of the building. In Thailand, there is no terminology of "bed and breakfast" but Saladaeng Inn fits into that genre of hotels. The rooms are small (as they would be in most small hotels); there are no boiling facilities in the room: instead, you can have snacks and unlimited amount of coffee downstairs just behind the lobby. Like in many small hotels, the staff are friendly and helpful. At the small lobby (more like a sitting room area), there is a wall of postcards and scribbled letters complimenting the hotel & their staff. So this place is genuinely and deservedly appreciated by former guests.

There is one footnote one needs to be aware. When you're in the room, you can hear guests chatting along the corridors, and neighbours closing their doors. So you just hope that you get considerate neighbours next to your room -- so that you can have a peaceful stay.

Room Tip: everything depends on luck: if you get good neighbors who dont slam doors or chit-chat on corridors

Me, my mum, and sis stayed there for 2 nights, it was a pleasant experience! The receptionists were very nice and helpful. They were friendly with directions, and one even helped us catch a cab.

Walking to the BTS station took us about 10 minutes, very convenient. There's also a Tops supermarket nearby, and a food court where locals go to eat during lunch hour. Very cheap and nice food there! But only open on weekdays.

There are a lot of things to see, and shop at night on Silom and Patpong road. Though Patpong is really quite dodgy even though some people have mentioned that it is family friendly.

We went out to look for breakfast one Sunday, even though the hotel provided nice sandwiches and biscuits. Shops and stalls nearby generally only open at 10am, so we had to wait for the stalls to set up.

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor, at night we can occasionally hear cars passing by. It isn't loud...

I stayed 5 nites here recently and very happy with its super cleanliness, comfy bed, and best of all super convenient locale. Its 3 minutes walk to BTS and MRT stations, Lumpini Park and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A perfect simple hotel to stay at the most happening place in Bangkok.

Room Tip: Go for the deluxe room as it is much bigger than the standard at a marginal higher price. Ask for s...

My husband and I stayed here for a few days and liked it. We stayed in a deluxe room (504), which is a bit more spacious than the other rooms, and has a bigger bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, and great location near the sky train. The breakfast is very light, but there are free snacks and tea and coffee all day. Ms. Kaewta was very nice and helpful! We enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for room 504

given its location... thumbs up....

service and price ... thumbs up

breakfast though simple but I think it is adequate and fabulous....... thumbs up.....

cleanliness of hotel and rooms.....thumbs up

friendless & helpfulness thumbs up.....

distance to the BTS and Underground... thumb up.... extremely near to BTS and underground. Usually I am skeptical when I read tat it is xxx distance to the railway network and only xx minutes... I beg to differ. But The Inn Saladeang is really near.

size of rooms.... thumbs down but it is cosy and with the price u are paying for.... I think wat u pay is wat u get.

noise cancellation..... BIG THUMB DOWN!!!! U can literally hear pp talking or when other guests coming back to the room. But if all guests are considerate abt other guests staying in the premises, then it should not be a problem.

left early in the morning and came back in the late afternoon and realised housekeeping in the room not done. Was told all the housekeeping staff had gone back. But the staff managed to get it done. BIG THUMB up!!!!

As other reviews have mentioned it is perfectly placed to explore the Old Quarter of Bangkok, markets etc. and it is close to all the major transport routes. The staff were very helpful assisting with transport to the Cambodian border etc.

Breakfast was basic but good with toast, fried sweet bread, fruit and a coffee machine available.

The room was clean and comfortable. Because of the Hotel's room layout the sound does travel into the rooms from the elevator/rooms lobby, but not much can be done about that.

All and all it was a pleasent experience and good value for money.
