Saladaeng Inn is a very cozy, clean, neat hotel. It is very well designed with light pastel colours that make the place refreshing in appearance. I also like the hotel because it is smoke-free: guests who want to smoke have to get out of the building. In Thailand, there is no terminology of "bed and breakfast" but Saladaeng Inn fits into that genre of hotels. The rooms are small (as they would be in most small hotels); there are no boiling facilities in the room: instead, you can have snacks and unlimited amount of coffee downstairs just behind the lobby. Like in many small hotels, the staff are friendly and helpful. At the small lobby (more like a sitting room area), there is a wall of postcards and scribbled letters complimenting the hotel & their staff. So this place is genuinely and deservedly appreciated by former guests.
There is one footnote one needs to be aware. When you're in the room, you can hear guests chatting along the corridors, and neighbours closing their doors. So you just hope that you get considerate neighbours next to your room -- so that you can have a peaceful stay.
