“Perfect Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

The Pros: The best location as it is only 5mins walk to the nearest BTS and MRT station. Just a short walk to the nightlife in Silom. Staff were ok as they are able to speak english. We booked a standard room for double but upon arrival, we got a free upgrade to a superior room. I noticed the lemongrass scent when we first arrived at the hotel, it didn't bother me as it helped to keep the pests away. The bed was really comfortable and the room air-con no problem. On ground floor in front of the elevator, they have a coffee machine that serves up a really nice cup of hot chocolate and it is free to use anytime of the day. Morning we got some oranges, bananas and sliced cake for breakfast before exploring the city.

The Con: My only complain is that the bathroom was not cleaned properly as some of the bathroom accessories were dusty and dirty.

Location if the hotel is great! Wifi was great breakfast as well, no complaints most of my time I was out of the hotel walking and exploring only used the room for personal necessities and storage.. You can't beat the price... Would definitely come back?

In terms of location, it is great - close to Silom Complex, Saladaeng BTS, my favourite massage place and Thai food joint. Booked it when the demonstrations began and got a good price so no complaints about price,

Negatives - breakfast is nothing to write home about. As mentioned previously, it is very basic. I had toast, marmalade and strawberry jam. Seasonal fruit was banana for the two breakfasts I had. Yes, they have a nice coffee machine but it broke down while I was there.

Room was okay - basic. Bathroom was okay but they only had one soap dispenser. Towels looked old and they need to buy new towels.

Overall - value for money but great location!

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the nice view of the old house.

Although location is great, closed to saladeang BTS and Silom MRT. As soon as you arrived, you're welcome by a strong scent of Mosquitos repellent (everyday!!) The room is tiny, old, mouldy shower curtain, rotten mirror frame. Stench from the bathroom. Well, if you don't mind is ok. AC is ridiculously installed right next to the bed, I caught a cold on our last night even though I turn it higher. The win of this inn is their 24 hours complimentary Nescafé coffee maker that serves up a decent cuppa of your choice. Forget the miserable breakfast. Only toast, whole oranges and simple sandwich. A thin layer of jelly or a thin layer of tuna paste on white bread. There is a Chinese alter on the ground with oranges and other fruits offerings. I am not sure those oranges on the breakfast counter are from the daily offering for the alter. I didn't to touch it.

We stayed 3 nights here over the new year period and were very impressed. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the buzz of Silom Road, but the area around the hotel is so incredibly quiet! Nice touch was the "help yourself" snack bar available all day along with tea/coffee. Our room was on the small side but considering the location and cleanliness of the hotel it was a bargain. Friendly staff, no hassles at check in, and 5 minutes from Saladaeng BTS or Silom MRT so fantastic if you are arriving from the airport via train/subway. Will definitely stay here again when in BKK.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and everything was perfect. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly (as are most locals) and the location is great.

Although the rooms are small, they are very clean and provide all the essentials plus more. They are equipped with air conditioning, a tv (news channels in various languages), safe/lock box with a digital key pad, mini refrigerator with 2 free bottles of water provided per day as well as 3 different beers for charge(Heineken, Singha and Chang 90/80/70 Bhat respectively), toothbrushes and toothpaste.

The staff was fantastic. They all pretty much spoke English and the employees who worked at the desk spoke English well. They were very accommodating and friendly, always making us feel comfortable and welcome.

This Inn is located with in a few blocks of two train lines which allows you to travel where ever you want to in Bangkok. There are plenty of food vendors around the area which makes things very convenient.

Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Bangkok!

We stayed there on two occasions while traveling to Thailand. The rooms were clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. It was also very handy to everything. Staff were very polite and friendly. This is not a big hotel but you get a more personal service. Would highly recommend.
