Stayed in this hotel whenon business trip. Rooms are spacious and clean, service very good. Excellent location, close to the old town. Helpfull staff accomodated all our requests, areanged for weekend tours, etc. There is a pier in front of the hotel, so any day one could hop in one of many boats going around. Nice terrace at the river with hotel restaurant offering decent food for low prices. Massage parlor conviniently located next to the entrance to the hotel. Would definitely come back.

Room Tip: Ask for the river-side rooms. Those on the street side might become noisy.

Navalai has a good location on the river a short distance from main routes in and out of Bangkok for any activities booked.
Room was spacious and bed comfortable, bathroom facilities were great as was the rest of the room.
Cable TV was a bit disappointing with only 4 Thai/Asian channels to choose from, not one European one to show. And with it being a big place the wifi left a bit to be desired.
Everything else however I could not complain about. The rooftop pool is a great little escape from city life and the restaurant out back by the river has some great dishes to try.
All the staff were super helpful with anything we asked of them.

Our second stay in two years and mainly for the great location, right on Pier 13. The hotel maintenance has run down a bit, but the comfort is still ok. The staff is alright as well, apart from the pool bar, they are just a bunch of kids playing or checking their phones All the time instead of taking care of the guests. Reception not over-friendly as well. Still a yes overall!

Booked a last minute break in the Navalai, to meet up with friends of ours. Hotel went out of the way to get us a room on the 5th floor, just nearby our friends, which was unexpected.
The Hotel itself is in an excellent location, right on the riverfront, but just goes across the road at the back of it & there are numerous bars & restaurants to choose from, eventually leading down to the infamous Khao San Road.
The rooftop pool area is a great way to chill out, after a day of sightseeing & gives you excellent views of the City.
Will definitely be returning back for another visit in the near Future.

Navalai River resort is a gem in the old city, stuatied on the Chao Praya river.
Enjoying your breakfast on the terrace located on the riverside. Swimmingpool on the rooftop offers a great view on the Rama IIIX bridge. Rooms are very clean and cosy. Internet was also available.
Pier 13 is just in front of the terrace.
The boats connects you to other places such as The Grand palace, Wat Arun. It even stops at Saphan Taksin where you can hop on the BTS to visit the shopping areas.
This gem is on walking distance of Kao San and Banglumpu. We will book this hotel next time.

Room Tip: Higher floors less AC noise. Or room with river view

Great spot to stay in Bangkok, right on the river at #13 ferry stop, which gives you access to many spots along the river including the Grand Palace. Close to Khao San district for shopping, bars, restaurants (try Magic Thai Food - great food, cheap prices). Loved our room on the river side where we could watch the river traffic. Staff was very accommodating (moved us to another room as we were bothered by renos nearby). Great views from the roof-top pool area. Dining area good for people-watching. Good breakfast, clean room, great location. Handy to be able to have a late checkout ( for a fee) as our plane left a midnight. We will return!

Room Tip: Choose 4th or 5th floor, river side

Check in was very smooth and the staff were very friendly. I saw some reviews stating the rooms were noisy but this would be the rooms at the front. We had a side room on the 5th floor which was very quiet. Room was very clean and roomy. TV had 5 or 6 international cable channels, tea and coffee, safe and the internet was wi if and it worked well. The beauty of this hotel is the location, within a few hundred yards you have dozens of good bars, cafés and restaurants. Ricky's cafe is close and does great coffee. Would stay again. Also nice small pool on roof with lovely river views.

Room Tip: Choose a side or river view room
