The most unexpected part was that almost no one spoke English. It is located in an industrial area. It was also quite far from the centre of town, but luckily there was a Skytrain (Metro) station nearby. The Reception staff was unsmiling and unhelpful. The phone in the room was dead. I complained but the staff said nothing could be done. If I wanted anything from Housekeeping, I could walk down to Reception and inform them. One of the tour-operators postponed the starting time and requested the Reception to inform me; but they never did. As a result my family spent two hours waiting in the lobby. The breakfast items were not labelled. Since it included items (like pork and beef) which we did not eat, we subsisted on bread, butter and jam. The bread toaster did not work and though it would have cost very little to repair or replace, they did not do either. The only juice offered was orange juice (canned) and it was much diluted. The coffee was lukewarm. The tablecloths were stained. The 24-hour inhouse shop was closed most of the time. Overall the hotel, did not seem very customer-friendly. It was a big disappointment since we were expecting Thais to be more hospitable. But it is a quiet place and there is no street noise.

Room Tip: The new wing has decent rooms overlooking a construction site. The digital door key malfunctioned s...

After some great nights in pattaya we reached Bangkok with an aim of catching up with some sound sleep. But Convenient park became the most In-convenient part of our tour. Our tour agent booked this ugly looking hotel, with mosquitoes, racist-unfriendly staff and unbearable odour in the rooms. We were asked to change our rooms thrice and all were the same. This hotel is out of the city- taxis will charge you bomb of money, sky train is good but of no use if you are coming late in the night. Breakfast doesn't have much for Indian tourist. Cafe isn't that good.

Room Tip: If you still want this hotel, go for newer wing not the old. Well I am not sure of new wing too.

Nice and good hotel to stay at Bangkok. Food was good and the staff at hotel are very friendly and helpful. Be sure not to rent car from this hotel as it will be too expensive comapred to outside taxi and tuk-tuks

We`ve never seen such a dirty and molded hotel. On the top of that, we experienced the worst customer service ever. The staff wasn`t helpful at all: We asked them if there was a train station nearby, they said that there is no public transportation at all, and they offered us one of their taxi for an unreasonable price, and guess what????? train station was only 1 minute walking from the hotel. I`d never recommend this hotel to anybody, not even to my worst enemy.

Room Tip: Look for an other hotel

I stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights in May 2011. It was a bit misleading at first, since they have the old and new blocks. The new block is more clean than the old one. Found it difficult to communicate with staff but they where polite and friendly. It was a bit far and the taxi took time to locate it. The entrance to the property was shabby and narrow. The BTS Punnawithi Station was the nearest to the hotel. The rate was cheap, hence the room decor too and food was average.

Room Tip: Room on the new block are better

Friendly staff, with lacking english skills though. Walking distance to sky train stops with good connections to all over town.
