Very rude guy at the front desk. Geyser wasn't working in the room despite the electrician trying to fix it twice in one day. Broken bolt on the main door of the room. In short, do not go !!! There have to be better places in Bangkok. They expect you to buy water from the mini mart once you finish the 500ml of drinking water they provide per head per day. The staff at the front desk could reallly use a crash course in manners !!

Very quiet place 100 m from BTS Sukumvit Skytrain station Phunawitti. Recomended for a quiet sleep. Very friendly reception staff. I stayed in the old wing. Rooms are ok and clean. Food is ok. Some customers kept complaining and expected this 3 star hotel to be a 5 star hotel. Book new wing if you expect 4 star service. Overall happy. I will come again because of good train connections and very friendly staff.

Room Tip: Book New Wing if you expect 4 star service.

We stayed in hotel from 19/11/2012-21/11/2012, the room was average with AC of low efficiency. Hotel has not provided any complimentory (except two botteles of water /day)like tea/cofee bags or other in refigerator on payment basis. The kitchen service was not so good, as we were served tea not enough hot, after around 35 minutes of order. Kitchen was not lifting intercom, inspite multiple effort.Tthe reception was good....and hotel should provide some indian break fast/fooding, when allowing indian guest to stay in thier hotel....as no indian fooding is available surrounding the hotel.....also.

Room Tip: Not good to stay for indians.....because of location and fooding.....

Though this hotel is located in Sukhumvit, finding a taxi to take you around OR making it to the MRT station proves cumbersome.... OnNut MRT station is around 4 to 5 kms away, walking distance and taxis are conspicuous by their absence in the area around the hotel. I had visited the hotel around and year and a half ago and there was an issue with the MRT stations located beyond OnNut .... I am unaware whether the same has now been sorted out. If so, a station is located bang outside the hotel so that one need not trundle down all the way to OnNut station. The hotel is clean, well-maintained and uncrowded ... in fact, there were very few occupants in the New Wing where we were put up. The staff is not overly friendly and we faced some language issues. The general impression is that of a family-owned hotel with one or the other of the owners supervising you while you are having the buffet breakfast !!! All in all, this hotel was a good experience. I would stay here again, given the chance.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the New Wing...when we visited around a year and half ago, they had just refurbished it !!!!!

The most unexpected part was that almost no one spoke English. It is located in an industrial area. It was also quite far from the centre of town, but luckily there was a Skytrain (Metro) station nearby. The Reception staff was unsmiling and unhelpful. The phone in the room was dead. I complained but the staff said nothing could be done. If I wanted anything from Housekeeping, I could walk down to Reception and inform them. One of the tour-operators postponed the starting time and requested the Reception to inform me; but they never did. As a result my family spent two hours waiting in the lobby. The breakfast items were not labelled. Since it included items (like pork and beef) which we did not eat, we subsisted on bread, butter and jam. The bread toaster did not work and though it would have cost very little to repair or replace, they did not do either. The only juice offered was orange juice (canned) and it was much diluted. The coffee was lukewarm. The tablecloths were stained. The 24-hour inhouse shop was closed most of the time. Overall the hotel, did not seem very customer-friendly. It was a big disappointment since we were expecting Thais to be more hospitable. But it is a quiet place and there is no street noise.

Room Tip: The new wing has decent rooms overlooking a construction site. The digital door key malfunctioned several times. Make sure you get one that works.
