Every time I stay at this place, I get more attached to it.
It almost seems like a second home to me now.

Staff, Service, Quality everything just perfect........

The only negative though this time, was wifi connectivity in my room and weak signals of my cellphone in my room.....

and as I said, almost like a home now.......

Room Tip: smoking rooms.....stay in the restaurant block non smoking rooms stay in the reception block

I've stayed here when it just opened in 2009. This time round, I felt that the furnishing of the room is more dated and there are obvious wear and tear on the wooden cabinets. There are also ants crawling on the table. However, the linens are spotless and the towels are clean and changed daily. Complimentary bottled water is also provided daily. There is also free Wi-Fi in the room which some bigger hotels may not even provide

Location wise, it is walkable to platinum mall though it takes about 10-15mins to do so. But there are street food and stalls along the way so you won't be bored. There is also a free tuk tuk service every 30mins. The staff are pretty friendly though they may not understand our English sometimes.

Do note that there are 2 buildings. The main one is where the reception and tuk tuk pickup is. the second one is a few steps away and is where the restaurant, gym and spa is. I personally prefer to stay at the main building as the tuk tuk pick up is there. Safety wise, I think it's the same as you need to scan your room card key in the elevator before you can activate it so outsiders cannot get to the hotel rooms.

The bad points are few and some are not huge problems. It is off the main road and is in on a small street with street vendors on both sides. Taxis may not be able to get in. It can get scary with cars and tuk tuks passing you with just centimeters to spare and street stalls on your other side. There is only one card key provided for each room. Wi-Fi is a little choppy at times. There are some amenities provided - shower foam and shampoo, shower cap, cotton buds, bar soap but no tooth paste and toothbrush so be sure to bring your own. Though walkable to platinum mall, it can get very tiring to walk back with your shopping load.

Overall, it is recommended for people who are looking for a good value hotel and doesn't mind the messy exterior. It was only 4000bt per room for 3 nights stay which is honestly a steal.

Rooms are run down, bathroom in dire need of a clean, breakfast was reheated food from their restaurant that wasn't sold the day before (we were so ill afterwards). Check in & check out took ages. Really hard to find for taxi drivers (down a tiny alley). Not a very nice area to eat out in either. Would not recommend

If you are boys-only-gang and no fuss guys, this hotel is best for you. The hotel resides in the buzy and dungy lanes of Pratunam and neighbours lots of roadside shopping hubs. Its a pure vegetarian joint, though they have a few good non-veg joints nearby. They also have a spa, good one for the price they charge. The hotel has an Indian vegetarian retaurant Ratna Sagar which serves good India food. The service is very average and if are a budget guy, this is the one hotel for you. If you are taking your family to Bangkok for the first time, I would not recomment this place, unless you have been to BKK several times.

Room Tip: They have 2 wings, but only the old wing has a restaurant and a spa.

we were very pleased with citin pratunam. the room we stayed at (room 1505 at the main building) had a comfortable king-sized bed. room was clean, spacious, complete with miniref, cable tv, tea making facilities, free complimentary water, fluffy towels, toiletries, hair dryer, in-roof safe, telephone. the aircon worked perfectly, it's hum was barely noticeable and we had a good night's sleep. heat and water pressure from the shower was strong and steady.

one bonus was the free wifi in the room. it was fast, and all three gadgets we had connected easily to the net (the other hotel we stayed in at pratunam only gave 1 hour free wifi for 1 device, after that, wifi charge is 150 baht per hour.)

we chose this hotel because we needed to stay near ratchaparop airport link, and it allowed late-check out at a reasonable rate (our late check-out rate was 700 baht, the other hotels in the same vicinity that we scoped charge a full day's rate). also, extra person charge (without using an extra bed) was only 300 baht, unlike the 750 baht charged in the other hotel.

staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. check in and check out took less than 5 minutes each time. they also have tuktuk service every 30 minutes.

among the other bonuses was the porter who brought our luggage with us to ratchaparop. we passed through the shortcut (walking time is approximately 4 minutes) from the hotel to the station.

if you're not familiar with the location, the walk from ratchaparop through the main streets would take about 12 minutes. tuktuks are familiar with the hotel, but you need to haggle. specify citin pratunam, because there is a city inn pratunam which is farther away.

there are many garment shops and garment night markets around the hotel. platinum, central and the other large shopping centers are about 10 to 15 minutes walk away depending on your pace.

overall, a thoughtful hotel. citin pratunam knows what guests need for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay, and this hotel provides them..

9th trip to Bangkok and first time staying at Citin Pratunam. For those who were not familiar with Pratunam area, might need a bit more time in finding the location of this hotel. This hotel consist of 2 different building which is just a stone throw away. One plus point about this hotel, it is covered with lots of delicious street food and you don't have to worry about your hungry stomach.

Upon check-in to my room, i found out that the whole level of my room had a pungent paint/thinner smell. I went back down to the front desk and request to change room. However there were no available room. Friendly front desk staff unsure me that she will try her best to get rid of the smell. If the smell continue to exist, she will change my room the next morning. To my surprise, when i return back from my dinner, the smell is totally gone!
