Most taxis won't want to go in to the road as it is a 1 way road. However, tour vans, tuk tuks and motorcycles zoom in and out dangerously. Breakfast was very bad as all were vegetarian.
Poor security as I lost my gold chain in the room. I specifically DID not ask for room service when I wasn't in the room. But daily when I return, the room was made up. This caused my gold chain to go missing. The hotel was OK.
Air con is a bit crazy. It starts from 25 and then decreases down to the temp that we want gradually. Last 2 days there was no hot water.

Thank you for spending time with us and we are regret to hear that your stay is not impression. Normally, we provide the safety box in all room for keep the value item to protect the missing issue. And our make up room procedure is all room will be clean everyday unless guest put DO NOT DISTURB sign or departure date. However, your comment about room maintenance is important to us and we will discuss in the management meeting. Finally, we are looking forward to get a chance to service you someday.

I Had a very satisfactory stay at Citin Pratunam in Sept 2013 (See review http://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/ShowUserReviews-g293916-d1133641-r177735271-Citin_Pratunam_Hotel-Bangko.html) and thus naturally decided to stay here again in July 2014.

This time we were allocated rooms in a building diagonally opposite the main hotel building. The first two nights were ok but everything went downhill after that.

On the third day morning, the ladies went out to shop at the morning market while the men continued sleeping in the rooms. Upon return, the ladies had to use the stairs since we did not have an extra room card to scan for lift access. A chambermaid was packing her stuff on the stairway and had to make way for us to pass through. She did this extremely disgruntledly and grumbled loudly in Thai while glaring at us with a black face. Horrifying service! In the first place, shouldn't stairways be kept clear of items incase of emergencies?

TV signal went haywire on our last night. Ants also started appearing around the bathroom sink and continued till the next morning. (Note that we did not have any food or drinks in our room other than mineral water). Wi-fi was intermittent throughout our stay. Bath tub drainage did not work properly.

The only reason I would return for another stay here is solely for its location as it is less than 5 minute walk to Ratchaprarop station where we can take a 30 minute airport rail to and fro airport.

It was good in terms of location, room. Strategically located and with reasonable pricing. Perhaps things to further improve are the in room cleaning proofing and improve the TV channels (not enough for chinese ).

Location: It's very strategic,right outside of the hotel,there are few massage parlours(actually the hotel itself has massage services!I remember they have 400bhat for oil massage/hr,foot massage(can't remember how much it cost) and thai massage),7 eleven convenient store,street food,and some street vendors.
Within walking distance,you can go to Platinum Mall(cheap clothes,accessories,a lot of ladies stuff!)(along the way,you will be walking through street vendors selling goods at a rather low price,of course,u may need to unleash your bargain skill),Central World (a shopping mall with a variety of branded stores you can choose from)
Staffs: They are nice and helpful.Communications maybe a little bit difficult,but they can understand your request,and I think that's good enough.
Price: I booked a Triple Bedroom with breakfast online in advance for 4 nights and it cost 7466bhat,without the tax. Well,if you're very particular in food,you might consider a package excluding their buffet breakfast.It's very simple kind,they have beverages like milk and fruit juices,croissant,vegetables,salads,rice,and noodles.But sadly,No eggs.Haha!I wouldn't say their food is excellent,but its edible and well,worth the price.But if I were to stay there again,I might exclude their buffet,and venture out to eat(thailand has got really amazing food!!yumyum!)
Facilites:They have all the common facilities and amenities,Wi-Fi is a little bit too slow,not many TV channels(but even if they do have many,I wouldn't understand-its in Thai),towels,shower caps,shampoo,soap,and safety box(the one in my room isn't working,but we were too lazy to complain about it,so we leave it the way it was)
Overall: Worth the price! :D

The hotel was OK but it's located in a strategic area for shopping and eating. Staff were nice and friendly. Budget-friendly. Quite a few massage parlors down the road... great for relaxing after a long full day of shopping or sightseeing!

Booked my room at this hotel with a very low price and worth it for staying for 5 nights.
Staffs are friendly but not all of them understand my english.
Looks old but its clean and comfortable.
Provide tuk-tuk service to certain street but it would be better if they are able to send customers to BTS station.
Hotel should have provide detail map for their location. (pretty hard for taxi driver to find)
Lots of food stalls, fashion stalls and others along the street.

Thank you for taking your time to review our hotel after check out.

- We are happy to learn that our staff provide friendly service to the guests, however some of them have limited English skill so we do need to set up more training and educated them.

- Our Tuk Tuk service are available to main road only regarding to the license reason. Besides, the traffic to nearest BTS station quite jam so we afraid that if we drive the guest there then we could not come back hotel on time to service next guest as our schedule is every 30 minutes. Hope you will understand out situation.

- We have hotel location map which mentioned both in Thai and English. Please contact us for your next visit. This map will help taxi driver to reach our hotel easier.

Lastly, we are looking forward to welcome you soon

This was my nth stay at this particular property. As always, I found that the staff, both at front office and for customer services was good and efficient. They would respond to all requests promptly and carry out the services with a smile.

But I was seriously disappointed with the quality of Wifi internet and with the lack of any TV channels of choice. I hope that the hotel management would take care of this promptly, otherwise customers already have many many new choices in the area. I already found the number of customers at this hotel far less that what I have been seeing in the past.

Room Tip: Rooms in Building 2 are more convenient for those wanting to frequent the spa.
