“Good sushi, but not great. ”
Reviewed 18 March 2014 via mobile

This sushi spot is very popular, and with good reason. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is casual but comfortable. We did have to wait outside about 20
Minutes but we were offered beers while we waited, always a nice gesture. The food was good, especially the rolls which were creative and tasty, but they just weren't really excellent sushi. The fish was good but not all if it was exceptionally fresh. The scallop roll was really great, but the "sushi sandwich" for which they are famous (crispy rice sandwiching chopped fish) was pretty bland. Anything adventurous, like marinated baby octopus, was not so good. This is a fun spot serving good food, but not quite great food.

“Tasty Japanese food”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

Went there about 2 times. We both liked what we ordered. The restaurant located just a bit in Sukhumvit soi 31. Its quite expensive and there are a bunch of waiters and waitresses looking at you while you eating!

“Worth the wait”
Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

The queues here are always long to get a table and they only accept reservations a few days prior, however the food is worth the hassle to get a spot. Simple, fresh and tasty options for Sushi, Sashimi and grilled meat. Most items on the menu are winners.

“Very good sushi.”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

I come here for one thing alone: the sushi sandwich. It might sound weird, but it's really delicious. Raw salmon and tempura flakes on rice patties.

I sometimes get the salmon don as well.

This place is NOT cheap, and if you're willing to wait during peak hours, it's worth it.

“Very Japanese, Very Good”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

We discovered the place by accident - while walking down the Sukumvit Soi 31 to 'So Thai Spa' (that we also wholeheartedly recommend). A long queue of people waiting outside caught our attention, this is usually the best recommendation. On the way back we decided to give it a try and although it was 10 minutes before the closure (10 to 10PM) they still accepted us in. The food was tasty (we had tempura, makis and fried squid). The portions were bigger than expected and the final bill lower than expected :). It tasted as well as it looked as they really take care to arrange the food nicely. The simplistic / modern / natural decor is another plus. We were the last customers and while we were finishing our food we saw them washing all the kitchen utensils very thoroughly - another point for them. Perfect for casual, walk-in dinner.
