“Close to sky train”
Reviewed 22 June 2013 via mobile

Very helpful and amiable staff with basic English knowledge. Cool, swanky feel to the rooms and lobby. You are steps away from the sky train, which could be a double edged sword for the light sleeper but didn't bother us. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I was prepared for a frills-free budget experience, and it was very affordable at USD50 nett for a Superior room (facing away from the Phrom Pong BTS), there's also a Bht 2000 deposit which you must make in cash upon check-in - they'll issue a voucher and you'll get it all back upon checkout. Staff surpassed expectations - was ushered to my room, and when I checked out, the bellhop carried my suitcase all the way to the BTS fare gate for me, hauled it over the barrier and wished me a safe onward journey! The rooms have every feature of a good hotel -flat-screen TV, complimentary bottles of water, fridge, safe box, toiletries, bedroom slippers, hair dryer and kettle with cups, glasses and coffee/tea. Beds and linen were clean and plush. A simple beige colour scheme and fuss-free but well thought out appointments enhance the stay experience. Great value for money.

Room Tip: Be sure to book a superior room, facing away from the BTS.

I have stayed at about 5 other places that are around the same price in this area and this is the best.
the bathroom and the rooms look modern.
theres a lift.
it is a clean looking hotel.
some of the other ones i looked/stayed at which are the same price were dreadful.
however at 1350 baht per night i expect the wifi to be working. wifi is important these days and if a hotel doesn't have it i don't want to stay there. so with wifi not working they should discount a bit i believe. the first 2 nights it didn't work but tonight on the 3rd night it is finally.
the other strange thing is that in my 1.5 yrs in thailand i have never been this itchy. i don't know what it is. maybe the carpet dust or something.
overall though this is the place i would return to when i return to bangkok again.

Room Tip: take note when you check in that there is seem to be smoking levels and non smoking levels. for some...

l had booked into another guesthouse down the street and quickly left. i walked down the street and found this lovely hotel. They showed me a couple of rooms and I decided on one on a side street. He showed me the glass was double paned as well as its in a busy area. The room was immaculately clean, The rooms are very modern, nice hot shower. my daughter and i were very pleased the location is fantastic, close to big shopping mall and bts.I did not like the fact that you had to pay $1000b as a deposit though

Room Tip: choose side street as very quiet

Very central. Close to major shopping malls, and skytrain. Understand that because of this, there is a VERY busy street literally right outside your window. If you open the curtains, you will feel as if you're in a fish bowl. Train station and traffic literally a few feet from your bed.
With that said, we had absolutely no problem sleeping with the very light street noise. Most of it dies down at night and is blocked out from the window.
Lots of tasty street food just outside in the morning.
Very clean & modern. Great showers. Would stay again.

I stayed here on route back to Ireland from New Zealand. They helped me with airport transfer and organised a trip to the main attractions in the city, as well as a river cruise by night and a meal at an excellent restaurant.
I was able to take the skytrain from just outside the door of the hotel and travel alone to visit some of the large shopping malls in the city. The skytrain was efficient, easy to use and cheap. The location of the Hotel right beside Sukhumvit stop is ideal for any visitor to the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with air-conditioning, a minibar, and I wasn't disturbed by the traffic noises despite its proximity to the street. The staff were friendly , they spoke English at the front desk. Breakfast was available right beside the exit door.

Room Tip: My room was comfortable , cool and quiet. A good tip in general if you leave by the side exit , look...

Stayed her beginning of December '12 (superior room at back of hotel)

Positives:

- Good location
- Friendly staff
- Reasonably quiet room (if at rear of hotel)
- Comfortable bed
- Clean
- Electronic safe

Negatives:

- Was asked to pay a large deposit on arrival (why??)
- Minibar was poorly stocked
- Was difficult for the taxi driver to find on journey from airport (an electronic map would be useful and / or clearer instructions to print out and pass to driver)

Overall - recommended budget hotel for singles, couples and groups of friends.

Room Tip: Strongly request a room at the rear of hotel, as the front is likely to be noisy
