So. Much. Food!
Really worthwhile tour. We tried a lot of great food, many at hole in the wall restaurants you’d never find on your own. Not meant for unadventurous eaters who’d rather stick to pad Thai.

Hi Noah,
You're totally right, there is a lot of things to try one the tour! There are so many Thai dishes that are unusual yet delicious, we just can't resist adding them to the experience! While pad Thai might be good, we've aimed for some of the lesser known snacks and dishes.
We hope you have a fantastic time on the rest of your Thai adventure and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
All the best,
Luke
We had the best time on this tour. This was our second day in Thailand so it was a great introduction to authentic Thai food. We had all ages in the group ranging from my kids, ages 10 and 13, my parents, my brother, and my husband and me. I warned them all to pace themselves and not to feel like they needed to finish their dishes, but they didn't listen! Everything was amazing and tasted wonderful.
Let me be honest: had we not been on this tour there is no way I would have eaten any of these things. I spent the entire time thinking that one of us would get sick. It didn't stop me from eating, of course...Despite my fears there was nothing to worry about!
Chef Nutth and his assistant came prepared with napkins and bought us waters along the way. Chef Nutth was amazing with his descriptions of what we were eating and where it was from.
Our favorite dish: the Kanom Tuay in the old Bangkok market. My kids are still talking about that one.
I highly recommend this tour. It is amazing.
Hi Katie,
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear that you found it a food introduction to authentic Thai cuisine! The city has so many different dishes, it's a shame to stick to just pad Thai! The snack you tried is one of our favs too!
We look forward to seeing you on another one of our foodie adventures soon.
Best,
Luke
Our tour began at the Shanghai Mansion in central Chinatown. Our host was quickly recognizable in a black Chef’s Tour tee shirt. The tour is conducted on foot and I would recommend you wear comfy shoes as we covered some distance on foot. The offers plenty of breaks to eat and drink and in total we stopped at nine different eateries or carts and sampled more than 18 different plates, fruits, or dishes.
Our guide spoke excellent English and was easy to understand as we tried some recognizable Thai dishes to some more creative options. We were part of a group of eight, which happened to feature not only six other Americans, but six other New Yorker’s!
Save room for the mango sticky rice at the end and the soy sauce flavored ice cream (surprisingly delicious!). For any traveling to Bangkok- I highly recommend this tour.
Hi Meghan,
We're so pleased to hear that you had such a good time on the tour with Chef Nutth. As you found out, it's a great way to introduce yourself to some of Thailand's lesser known dishes! The mango and sticky rice is one of our favs too!
We look forward to seeing you on another one of our foodie tours again soon.
All the very best,
Luke
This was by far the best thing we did during our week in Bangkok. Amazing food (and so much of it!), friendly and knowledgable guide, fun group of other participants! By the end of the tour, it felt like we were all good friends. I only wish we had done this earlier in the trip, so that we could go back for seconds!
Hi,
We're thrilled to hear that it was the highlight of your trip in Bangkok! Chef Nutth's selection makes for one of the best introductions to Thai cuisine and he's a great guide! We hope to see you on another one of our foodie tours soon!
Best,

We were part of a small group on the Bangkok backstreets food tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and would warmly recommend it to anyone. Our favourite thing about the tour was that we visited stalls, carts and restaurants, which we would’ve never been able to discover alone; these included long running local family institutions that are part of Bangkok’s street food history. Thanks to our guide chef Nutth we were able to be a part of it all.
Hi Arla,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we're thrilled to hear that it was the highlight of your trip. It makes for a great introduction to Thai cuisine and Chef Nutth really knows his stuff when it comes to the capital's street food!
We hope you had an amazing time on the rest of your Thai adventure.
All the very best,
Luke
I had a truly fantastic time! We were fed ridiculously well and every dish was outstanding! The places we were brought were each very different from each other and it was hard to not eat every last bite.
The customer service was also incredible. I’m traveling on my own and I was helped a ton with my return trip to my hostel.
I would absolutely recommend!!
It's so great to hear that you had a fantastic time on the tour! Each dish is carefully picked for quality and taste. We aim to give guests an understanding of the history of the dishes and their context in Thai culture.
We hope you have a fantastic time on the rest of your Thai adventure and look forward to seeing you on another one of our foodie adventures soon!
All the best,
