“close to very good”
Reviewed 19 December 2013

maybe just me but they had to be good ordering two of the higher calorie dishes. chicken korma very good and daal makhani the same. portions on the smaller side compared around town but perfect for the single diner. I ran out of garlic naan and then ordered a palin naan. came out crispy and close to burnt and would encourage anyone who likes the flavored naan's to stick with them here. mukwaas offered with your bill.

reading other reviews was cool and did notice some activities going on. this will not take away from ur experience at all but was just funny others were paying attention. okay all in all pretty good and with the other reviews on how to find them. yes, its the first left down soi 8 at the un assuming alley and about 15 seconds in you will notice them. they could use better signage or a sign on the main soi. your TA app find them map is off a bit if you use that app. this one also has alcohol and a relaxed vibe. worth a try and take it from there. two other top joints for me within 300 feet. good area for Indian cuisine. all three are good.

“Average food. Very dirty location”
Reviewed 18 December 2013 via mobile

Went here based on other decent reviews of the food. When we arrived, we decided to eat outside as the interior of the restaurant was not very appealing.

This place is located in an alley. A very dirty alley. There is a rat garden just a couple of feet from the outdoor "patio". We had the pleasure of seeing 5-10 different rats during our dinner. That aside, the food was very average for an Indian restaurant. Would not return.

“A little challenging to find & pricey but food was great”
Reviewed 8 November 2013 via mobile

Not well marked, down a little lane off Soi 8, very close to Sukhumvit Rd. For 600 baht I had a pretty substantial meal including a large Singha beer, plain rice, a samosa app, keema naan, and a spicy prawn main course. A bit pricey by BKK standards but everything was excellent. Look past the restaurant's unimpressive presentation and enjoy.

“Fabulous North Indian Food”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

OCTOBER 2013 : We came across this place; thanks to TripAdvisor.

So, we did not mind exploring it out ourselves. It is located on Soi 8. Once you enter Soi 8 take the immediate left again and you will find Namuskaar. A tricky one, but worth the effort.

On reaching we saw this place which was not very well decorated like the other restaurants in the vicinity. But that really did not matter as we wanted to have Good North Indian Food and that was all that mattered.

We ordered for 2 Rotis, 1 Dal Makhani,1 Paneer Butter Masala & 1 Roasted Papad which the two of us could not finish. The servings were substantially larger than expected and the Food was just too good to resist & it goes without saying that we over ate since we could not resist our taste buds. Post that my wifey called for a Masala Tea which we enjoyed in the open sitting area outside the restaurant enjoying the Bangkok Rains.

For all we ate, we paid around THB 550 which was worth every penny.

A must go for every Foodie !!
