My wife and I stayed in Club Millesime Suite 2815 between 21.7.2014 and 24.7.2014 where the suite is quiet with windows seeing the day and night scenery of Bangkok. This hotel is well located between The Sky Train Stations of Nana and Asok with a walkable distance of about 10 minutes. The Terminal 21 is near the Asok Station and is only three sky train stops to Siam Centre, Siam Discovery and Siam Paragon. Hotel staff are polite and helpful with smiling faces at all times. The Millesime Club provides excellent breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails to customers. This hotel is ideally for relaxation and shopping along the sky train stations. My wife and I are happy to return to this hotel in future.

What a great place. Sofitel always has fantastic service as well as great beds. Loved the rooftop bar. It is definitely a must if you stay here. Otherwise, Sofitel FTW again. If you want affordable luxury in a prime time location, this is truly it.

My daughter and I stayed at the Sofitel for three days, one of which happened to be her birthday. The staff surprised us with a beautiful cake and wine in our room. So nice! The pool and spa are wonderfully equipped and the service everywhere was fantastic. Sukhumvit is a great place to stay - we had easy access to the sky train and the underground, and shopping and sight seeing were all nearby. You can't go wrong with this hotel chain.

Room Tip: The garden rooms have a nice view of the city without big buildings taking up all the visual space.

This was our third stay at the Sofitel Sukhumvit and once again, it surpassed our high expectations.

Upon arrival we were whisked up to the Club Lounge where we were warmly welcomed back and check in was handled smoothly. We have always booked a Club room, however we have been extremely lucky to be upgraded to a prestige suite on all three occasions! Amazing room!

The Sofitel gets it right where a 5 star hotel should. Warm, friendly service, modern luxurious rooms and great food and bev facilities.

I must make a special mention to the staff in the Club Lounge. Always greeting us with a smile and remembering our favorite pre-dinners drinks. If you stay at the Sofitel, it's well worth spending the extra for Club Access. Free flow drinks, coupled with tasty canapes makes for a great pre-dinner treat. The only issue I had this year was the lack of the fabulous smoked salmon that was on the buffet menu last year (I guess I ate my fair share then!). Please bring this special treat back Sofitel!

All in all, I can't fault the Sofitel at all. I feel so welcome here, we are truly treated like royalty. Remains our only place to stay in Bangkok and we are already looking forward to our return in February 2015.

Room Tip: Treat yourself to a Club Room. Excellent value for money!

This place is incredible. My girlfriend and I had a day to kill before we got the night train out and wanted somewhere to relax and have a swim. We emailed quite a few hotels and am I glad we picked this one. Everything was incredible. We were told to go straight up to the 9th floor on arrival and were welcomed by lovely staff at the spa reception desk. For the price you get a locker in the changing rooms which have a sauna in them as well as the usual shower and toilets. There are toiletries provided and towels for use. Bottled water is out as well.

When we were ready we walked through to the pool area where we were greeted by more staff who laid out the towels on the loungers and asked us if we wanted any drinks from the bar. We politely declined but we were bought over a tray with complimentary glasses of water and a small fruit cocktail stick each.

We had such a lovely and relaxing day and the staff were truely perfect in their level of service.

It was our third stay in Bangkok but our first at the Sofitel and what a stay it turned out to be..
Upon arrival late evening we were informed that we had been made guests of the day ( new programme just started) and had been upgraded to a suite (2805) with butler on the 28th Floor. Wow - the view was amazing, each room had a a TV even the bathroom, beautiful furnishings and so much space. It was the little touches that made the stay so memorable. Being club members entititled us to breakfast on the top floor (32nd), daily afternoon tea and cockails/canapes in the evening. Breakfast at the club is more refined than in the buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor although both have exceptional egg stations and provide every type of culinary delight you could possibly want in the morning. The gym facilities are excellent. Pool area/decking is spacious, lovely size pool and with some sun-loungers, day beds and relax sofas/tables. Staff bring round iced water and fresh fruit kebabs which is a welcomed treat in the Bangkok heat of the summer. Location is everything in a city and the Sofitel is perfect. There are 2 skytrain stations within 3 minutes walk either way from the front of the hotel (we could see the track from our suite), a street market from mid-day to mid-night directly on the main road outside the hotel, many shops, some banks/money exchanges and restuarants all located around the base of the hotel. All in all a perfect location for exploring an amazing city.

Room Tip: high floor rooms and club membership
