The Adelphi Grande - Room 1807 was the ideal hotel for us. Tucked down a residential street off the main drag in the Sukhumvit neighborhood, the hotel provided a quiet stay, easy walk to public transit, plenty of things to do and LAUNDRY! After 12 days in China on a group tour with OK accommodations, this hotel really fit our needs and was quite a luxury. I could have stayed longer.

Spacious room was really a little apt with kitchenette, dining area, sitting area with flat screen TV, desk, safe, and large comfortable bed. Bathroom was generous with tub and shower. Kitchen had an all in one washer and dryer which we loved. Instructions are a little confusing but have patience, clean clothes are worth the wait. Marble floors, wood accents created a sleek appearance. Housekeeping kept everything very clean and neat.

Hotel is very well maintained. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our rate included a hearty breakfast buffet with both Western and Asian options. Bar service and happy hour daily. Nice sized pool and fitness center, computers in lobby for hotel guest use a plus. Taxi service easy to come by but less than ten minute walk gets you to the elevated train that can get you just about anywhere. Dining and shopping are easy to come by as well. On the corner towards the main street is a full-sized grocery store too so you can't beat the convenience or value. Great hotel for couples and families.

Room Tip: rooms facing east provide view of train and skyline

Our family of 5 stayed here from July 31 to August 3, and we absolutely loved this hotel! Everything from the room reservation, airport pick-up, room service and check-out was just flawless.

The entire hotel is smartly designed, very modern with all the glass and mirrors yet warm with touches of Thailand such as carved furniture and woven wall panels. The rooms were spacious, we occupied 2 connecting rooms and they were equally clean, gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The appliances were a nice bonus, especially the washer and dryer since it was raining during most of our stay.

The staff, lovely! Some of the friendliest hotel staff we have ever encountered. All very accommodating and happy to assist us with whatever request or inquiry we may have had. Their hospitality truly made our stay in Bangkok wonderful. It was so good in fact, that I have already decided to go back for my birthday this December.

Truly an exceptional hotel! :)

As middle aged couple thorughly enjoyed stay here.
Wonderfully clean spacious apartmenht-stayed executive 1 bed suite. had good views on 19th floor and was non smoking as requested.
Really good amenities as shown on their website-appilance easy to use incl washing machine.
Yes beds are hard over there then what we are used to but so tired end of day didnt matter.
Good breakfast-reasonable choice-cereal/fresh fruits and fruit salad , yoghurt, bread to toast and selection of cooked food. Eggs cooked while you wait -scrambled/fried or omelette-different choices like bacon/fried rice/baked beans/potato/tomato.
Lovely staff-very frinedly and helpful.
Good supermarket-TOPS end of street-range of pre packed fresh meals to have if want to eat in.
Easy walk even in heat to sky train station-few times used hotel Tuk-tuk to end of street.
Can easily catch sky train anywhere centrally on same line or other line.
Sky trains rung very frequently-never usually wait more than 10 mins. if travelling bit on them buy pass as makes it easier then having change to get tickets.
Lots of restauramts around-more bit further up Sukhumvit or down side street-Get on skt train go to Asok and get of and walk further up Sukhumvit and choose place to eat and watch nightlife/street stalls then get back on train-safe and easy.
Would readily go there again.

Dear Valued guests,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review us on the tripadvisor review. We are pleased to see that you have an enjoyable stayed with us on your recent visit. It is nice to learn that our guests enjoyed their stayed and had a good time while they were staying with us. As you mentioned our property is located in the Soi, but it is convenient to walk to BTS station, and the shopping mall as it takes only a few minutes. However, if guests prefer not to walk we also provide the shuttle service (tuk tuk) from the property to the main street.

We hope that when ever you visit Bangkok, you will grant us an opportunity to serve you again at Adelphi Grande. Thank you once again for kind feedback on this review.

Sincerely yours,

we started off our trip to Thailand in this Hotel in Bangkok where we stayed for 3 nights but wish it was for longer.

we stayed in one of the one bedroom rooms which went out onto a private garden/ patio which we were completely shocked by the size of the room. we had a living room kitchen area, large bedroom and a huge bathroom with a wet room and was fully air conditioned. the room was spotless fresh towels and bedding we provided even though we were only there for 3 nights. As this was our first time in thailand we werent too sure what to expect but this lived up to everything we saw both on the website and from some of the reviews we had read.

we ordered room service on a few occasions which we found the prices very resonable and also had some items from the mini bar which also reasonably priced.

with our room breakfast was included which we found had a great selection to choose from and was different every morning. there was also an omelette bar where you could ask for any sort of eggs you wanted and they would cook them right there and then for you. i dont see how any one could fault this.

my partner used the gym on a few occasions all the gym equipment was very modern. we also went for a dip in the pool a few times to cool down from the hot Bangkok sun was nice and refreshing and clean.

all in all this was great place to say and we would highly recommend the staff were lovely and so helpful we booked a few trips through the hotel to go and see the muay thai fighting and they also arranged us a trip on a river diner cruise down the chao phraya river.

great value for money, 2 star prices for 4 star accomadation!!!
