“Home away from home”
Reviewed 26 November 2010

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The first visit was fantastic, hence why I came back, but this recent stay was even better. The staff are incredibly friendly and do not hesitate to go out of their way to help you. They are always smiling which is what makes the place so comfortable. The rooms are huge and the beds very comfy. The restaurant offers a really great selection of food on its menu and of the few dishes I tried, all were brilliant! The hotel location is ideal, so close to everything, yet just tucked away from the hassle of tourist town. The free tuk tuk service from the hotel to the Emporium Shopping centre up the road was very reliable - allowing easy access to the Sky Train and everything the centre has to offer. Found a great local nail salon nearby and a couple of great restaurants and cafes. I guess the welcoming and comforting nature of the hotel coupled with the brilliant local atmosphere of the area is what really made my stay so great. I will be back again soon!

Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. not only great working of the staff but the spaciousness of the room. The bathroom with great shower. The breakfasts were enjoyable, tasty food. The staff were courteous and helpful. Excellent stay, I'd comeback and recommended.

This is the second residence type hotel I tried in bkk. It's better than Anantara Serviced Suites hands down but it's definitely not a 5 star property either.

1. Room (1 bedroom): Good size. full kitchen. refrigerator. washer/dryer, comfortable bed. good size bathroom with rain shower. Nice for the price of admission.

2. Service: everyone is friendly and eager to help. Free tuk tuk ride to and from Emporium/Phrom Phong BTS station readily available.

3. Breakfast: Nice selection. Good value for the price.

4. Spa: This is where the hotel faltered big. Spa facility, staff, menu, and availabilty all need big improvement. Quality of massage is among the worst in BKK including street massage. Only 1 masseuse was working and skill level was disappointing. How can you not offer to change my street clothes for massage? Massage was done in my street clothes on massage bed. Hotel offered free 15 minute introductory massage. I waited 3 hours to get this but somebody forgot I was waiting. I finally got it done the next day.

It's too bad one area of hotel operation can ruin entire stay. I wish I did not try the spa and my rating would have been higher. I would be happy to return if they work on this issue or if i decide not to use the spa at all.

It was a good stay at Marriott EA, Sukhumvit Park. I should say rather luxurious and very comfortable one. Rooms are excellent and in-room amenities are simply superb. Kitchen is well-equipped and I'll tell you the coffee I used to make is wonderful. One of the best hotels I ever stayed.

Well, I forgot about food. Food is really excellent and one will get simply amazed with the variety of cuisines offered. Wow!!!

With lots of facilities in the room, good food and great service too, its simply a wonderful experience staying there.

This hotel was an oasis in the middle of Bangkok. We stayed for 4 nights with 2 boys, 7 and 9 years old. We were in a very large serviced one bedroom apartment with a huge (and very comfortable) king sized bed and 2 single beds for the boys. The size of the rooms were the biggest we have seen in all our travels through many parts of Asia. The fitout of the room was exceptional and was a bonus with 2 flat screen TV's in the main bedroom and lounge area.

The facilities at the hotel were fabulous for the family with a pool, spa, badmington, tennis and squash courts and a golf driving net a putting green a games room and excellent gymnasium. The location was very good..away from the hustle and bustle and noise of being closer to town. We took full advantage of the free tuk-tuk that was making regular trips to the Emporium shopping centre and skytrain nearby, which had us into the city within10 minutes. The Emporium was excellent for eateries and restaurants of all types and upmarket shopping and a movie theatre with english movies. There were also a number of restaurants near the hotel with a big seafood market and restaurant a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help you. The only downside for us was no free WiFi

In summary, we will definitely be staying here again when we return to Bangkok...we could not fault it.

The hotel was home away from home. The rooms were extremely luxurious, equipped with everything you could possibly want in your home .....from dishwasher, wine bottle opener to....washing machine dryer, vacuum cleaner. Name it and it was there.

The hotel is very new and everything is in IMPECCABLE condition.

Not the mention the service. The staff is very courteous. The breakfast layout amazing.

The complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to the emporium Mall & the Phrom Phong Sky train station make the location very comforatble -- far from the hustle bustle and still very well located.

The pool and the outdoor jacuzzi are a welcome escape after a tiring day - shopping. sight seeing or a business meeting.

There are some very good spas -- the Asia Health spa -which are really nice.

Even fast food eateries like Mcdonald's, Subway are within walking distance.
