“Quiet, clean, accessible - at a good price”

Tucked away at the end of a narrow lane in Silom, Silom Convent Garden is accessible - well situated close to BTS, shops, restaurents and street food. The rooms are clean but they could invest in new linens. The place is quiet and bright. The staff is pleasant and speak enough english. The room had a good sized refrigerator, microwave, china and cutlery. The room comes with free wifi. Public areas are tastefully decorated. I would recommend this to someone who wants a clean, safe and peaceful room that is still close to everything. Value for money.

Just finished a 2.5 month stay at Silom Convent. I was perfectly happy with the studio apartment.

Liked: Clean, bright, cheery; 24-hour DIY laundry room (B120 for wash / dry but you'll need your own detergent / softener); send-out laundry (B30 per piece) and back in 2 days; easy 7 min walk to either Chong Nonsi or Sala Daeng BTS stations; neighborhood is quiet but well-lit, never felt unsafe; accessibility to restaurants (posh / indoors / street food, take your pick). I counted about 90 places to eat within a 10 minute walk...

Could be better: Kitchenette had microwave, sink, fridge, cutlery but no burners. It would've been nice to have some place to make simple meals; no swimming pool; very few cable channels

That being said, I ended up joining the huge 9th floor swimming pool at the nearby Trinity Complex (5 min walk) for B2,000 / month, and had cable installed (B2,000 deposit for cable box)

Overall, a good stay. Most of the staff are cheery enough but speak very limited English, so I wouldn't rely on them for any touristy recommendations. But they were responsive when I needed extra hangers, dish cloths, etc.

I ended up here when the i-residence could not extend my stay. Very nearby and access to all the same transport and shopping facilities. Full kitchen and well suited for a longer stay. No pool, but clean and in a very quite area while still being close to everything. Good find.

This hotel is great for the money... it is in great location for easy commuting all around the city. The hotel is between two sky train stations which is great! You can walk a few blocks and be right near shopping, night market, food and transportation. This hotel is very basic... nothing luxurious about it. I like staying here because I am in BKK all the time and dont need the hotel staff to help me with anything. This hotel is great for a long stay or for someone who knows BKK and how to get around. If you are need to BKK I suggest staying a hotel that has english speaking or foreign speaking staff... I like this hotel because I am just there to shower and sleep... I dont need a pool or anything like that... If I want luxury I stay at the Anantara... when I just want a basic safe place to stay in BKK I stay here!

We found the quiet, clean and comfortable place we were looking for at the Silom Convent garden. The room had a microwave, fridge and cutlery so we could prepare our own breakfast. In the 2 nights we were there I think we saw one other guest so it is indeed quiet. The staff don't speak great English but that is why we travel! It is next to the busy Silom area but off the main street and quiet.

for the business traveller it's a great accommodation and a nice and relaxing atmosphere.
I daily use the quiet rooftop for working on my laptop and if wanted to change room upgrade i always got what i asked for.
First i had a dark room and got moved to a lighter one.

I don't really understand the negative posts about this place. I stayed at Silom Convent for business since it's opening for several times, mostly for several months. It is not a luxurious breakfast type of hotel. It is a refuge, right inside the busy hustling quarters of Silom. Quiet and very nice. More of a long time stay then a rush in and out if you are looking for comfort. It is your second home in a serene setting right inbetween everything.

If you are looking for lush breakfast buffets, loads of tourists and a lot of old men coming in with young girls, dont come there. It is a very, very proper and clean, family owned venue.

The staff is responsive. So if you have any questions, ask them. Always worked for me. Need an extra towel, forgot to change some money, did the hotel forget to do anything? Just ask and they will help. If you or them dont understand, just use your hands or ask for somebody that does.

It feels more like a furnished appartment then a hotel and that is the great thing about it, no need to eat at a restaurant when you have all the delicacies on Silom a footstep away.

And talk about location. It is two minutes away from two major skytrains.

I like it. That's it.
