“nice hotel decent price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2012

we stayed for 2 nights in july. the plus for this hotel is the free pickup from airport and the breakfast. they serve on hot dish for breakfast which you have to decide the day before. besides that there is a decent spread of fruits, cereals, juices, cookies and youghurt. we had a early morning flight and they even had the breakfast packed for us at 4 am. they also booked the cab at almost the same price we would have payed if booking on our own which avoided the early morning hassle.
the room was comfortable with clean bathroom, one the cleanest we have seen in thailand.
the only drawback is that the curtains do not block the light completely. as we had a room facing the rising sun the room had light early morning. During the night also the light from the corridor also filtered in from the door edges and from the valance above.. the management will do well to rectify this issue wh

the brt is a 7 min walk and connects to siam/silom/sukhamvit in about 20 min. the station from where you can take the boats for river is also 1 stop( 5min) down.

Loft inn can be a good base to explore the city though a more central location could be preferred by people who are in bangkok either for short stay or for shopping. for them the hotels around sukhamvit/siam could be an option.

Room Tip: take a room which does not face morning sun or check if the curtains block the light esp. if you are...

The staff are very kind. They even take time to greet us everytime we go to the lobby or even go outside and help us look for a good taxi. The rooms are very clean and they make it a point to make it spic and span upon your arrival from a tiring day. The breakfast buffet is also good! :) It's a much recommended hotel at Bangkok. :)

Clean room, good breakfas & very helpful stuff.
Attention given by hotel stuff are superb. Extra pillows request was fulfill, they help us to get taxi from hotel was very touching as they stand besides road under hot sun for around 10 minutes just to get us taxi & even help us to communicate with driver for destinations.
Breakfas was great, only the cafe was too small & sometimes get clouded.
Air port pick is a plus point but almost screw up cos the name on display plate wasn't my name as mentioned. Almost miss the pick up as I'm keep looking for my name. Luckily it was noticed by my sis.
Overall is a great choice for stay if u visit BKK.

we stayed at this hotel for 2N/3D in May. Fantastic hotel...lovely staff and great price!!!
Nice breakfast if you are a non-veg but theres not much if you are a veg. Free airport transfer is very helpful after a long flight. Fantastic staff at the bangkok loft inn...they help with any problems and make it such a homely atmosphere! The only issue with this hotel is the location, it is outside main city or the happening places of bangkok. At first is a bit of a struggle, as it is not close to the popular tourist towns, but once you get an understanding of the bts (bangkok skytrain), it is very easy to get in and about. the room was lovely, no problems at all. decent size, good tv and free wifi in the room. all in all a fantastic hotel and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting bangkok.

Room Tip: Its very near to BTS hardly 5 min walk

This is the best value for money hotel I have stayed at out of 100's of hotels by some distance.

They initially, for free, picked us up from the airport which is quite a distance and worth around 500 Baht - a service I have not had from more expensive Bangkok hotels.

On arrival the greeting was very friendly and they provided lots of useful information.

The rooms have very comfy beds, wi-fi, large powerful hot showers, TV and excellent adjustable quiet air conditioning. The rooms are not far off 5 star standard and this hotel cost us around 1200 Baht per night!

Breakfast was up to the same standard. I expected a standard buffet and while this was available, an excellent Asian breakfast was also freshly cooked on demand. The breakfast was very tasty and a real surprise.

Some reviewers have said the location is not ideal. I do not think this is a problem, as it is right next to the Skytrain, Bangkok's attractions are not centralised and taxis are so cheap you should not have to pay more than 100 Baht.

On leaving, it was my friends birthday and as we left, we were given our pack up breakfast (an alternative they provide if you order the night before) and also gave him a birthday cake and sang happy birthday.

The service here was overall better and more friendly than any I've had at the luxury hotels in Bangkok.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of this trip. It felt so nice to go back to it at the end, after traveling for a month. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The asian breakfast is amazing. The complimentay pick up from the airport, upon request, is a nice feature, esp. after a long flight. The location is great. You can take the sky train to the Jim Thompson House (end of the line, Stadium). It's easy to use. And you can take the sky train to the Taskin stop and the local boat to the grand palace. The skytrain is easy to use. You get change from the teller and then use the machine for your stop. The cost is listed on a map. It's 35 baht to the stadium stop and 15 baht to the taskin stop. The local boat has an orange flag. And you pay 15 baht to a person on the boat. When you want to get off, you walk to the deck. It's easy and cheap. And don't trust any tuk tuk drivers and anybody else if they tell you something is closed. The grand palace has free tours at 10, 1030, 1 and 130. No shorts, but flip flops are fine.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the street have a bit of a view of a garden and are quietier.
