good hotel and location and staff more than helpful. only things lets this hotel down is the breakfast. breakfast room is not part of the hotel. this lets the hotel down probably would not stay here again. at least if you look at this hotel then stay but get breakfast outside. better option is new holiday inn express opening straight opposite. for bed and breakfast this will be my choice from now on..

Room Tip: ask for a non smoking room on 6th floor

Yes. This is a great place and well deserving of all of the great votes it had received on TripAdvisor (that is how we chose it). As usual, the reviews were true to form. Fairly priced and perfectly located, it is an ideal place to base yourself while in Bangkok. Fabulous restaurants nearby (and the one in the hotel is great too!), massage parlours (nice ones), and night market shopping are all just minutes away. Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom amenities smelled delicious, and we got all of our required wake up calls as requested. My only suggestion would be that the hotel consider getting new tea kettles since the ones there take quite a while to heat up. They worked great just not as quick as most I have used.

We stayed 5 days in Bangkok in this Hotel, good things is the location (close to the train), the size of the room was ok and really clean. The restaurant is also good.

Poor things, the employees of the hotel don't speak proper English, the swimming pool is located in other building crossing the street. The breakfast is bad.

The worst thing is they offered us an excursion to floating market with guide in English and that was not true. It was basically a transportation to that place in which the guide said zero words and left us for 1.30 hours in which we must paid extra money to take a boat and they never said that before book the excursion. After that they took us to other place to wait for other people coming to other excursion to going back to the city (one hour spent doing nothing). For this "excursion" with no guide at all we lost at least 70% of the day. We called the hotel they didn't do anything...Advice, don't take this excursion...

The other things were correct in the hotel.

The staff is so willing to help. The free- upgraded superior room makes us feel more confident. Rooms are clean and the orange hand wash is my favourite. I enjoy the swimming pool they provide too! Just one question, is it common an extra- payment needed for the local call in Thailand? ( tough it juz spends us 10B). Anyway, i like it!

Stayed at Glow in April over the Easter break for five nights. This small boutique hotel is in a great location and for a short stay in Bangkok is very affordable and comfortable. Rooms were spacious (we had 2x single beds) and modern.
The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 min walk to sky rail, banks, food and markets. The most fantastic local market is right outside and each morning we ate breakfast we the locals. (Glow provides breakfast we just chose to eat local.) Patpong markets are a 10 min walk and two train stops to central station, shopping. I highly recommend this very affordable hotel the staff were helpful particularly the gentleman at the tourist desk.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are lovely and really fresh and clean. The bathrobes, slippers and complimentary water are nice touches. The bed and shower were huge! The staff were all friendly. We ate breakfast one day in the adjoining café - we felt that the price was reasonable and there was a good choice of food available. The only downside was that the room was a little noisy at night as it faced onto the street near the hotel entrance but hey we were in Bangkok so expected noise! The WiFi connection was not great either but we could live without internet for a few days. We will definitely stay at this hotel again should we return to Bangkok! Excellent!
