Food creatively blended and presented. Romanian sparkling rose wine was a delightful surprise. The restaurant was full and busy, but still service very attentive.

“Nice enough but nothing that amazing”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

After reading the reviews on here and considering the amazing food available in BKK I went with extremely high expectations. The food was lovely, we went for lunch and ran out of time for dinner where it might be a bit more leisurely but our starter came within 5 minutes of ordering it which felt a bit weird, we hadnt even chosen a wine or anything.

The staff are a bit too attentive perhaps, as I hate people clearing my place while im still chewing the last bite and every five seconds it felt like some one was buzzing about like a blow fly interupting the conversation or just letting us have some intimacy to enjoy what was going on. About 700 times we were asked if it was ok. "yes if you would only just P*SS off". Then of course when you needed someone to refill your water or something then you couldnt catch the eye of anyone if you tried which is always an irritating thing of 'all or nothing' that happens a lot in Thailand generally in the service industry.

Mains came out immediately too so no time to order a matching wine to go with it so overall felt a bit rushed but the food was yummy and nicely presented.

Also not impressed with the toilets as they are just the toilets in the main mall so quite a walk away and you have to queue up with 10000 shoppers waiting for the mall toilets while your meal gets cold since you seem to only have 5 minutes between courses.

Im glad i tried it and if I lived here i'd probably go back in the evening but on a holiday I won't make a pilgramage back here on my next visit.

“Enjoyable night”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

Had a great night, food was very well prepared and tasted good, wine selection was outstanding. They kept on bring out little plates of goodies between courses which was amasing. The girl at front of house was lovely and really friendly.

We did have a bit of a problem finding it as it is tucked away in a shopping mall, but wont have the same problem on our second visit.

“Never disappoints”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

Certainly one of the top restaurants in Bangkok. The German chef Mirco Keller knows how to please. Small, utterly delicious, dishes. Among others, I would recommend his pigeon.
Wine list is extensive and service does not get better.
Enjoyed a wine dinner there last week, which was great, as usual. I would, however, recommend to drop the German raspberry liquor in the Champagne for next time, as it really kills the good Champagne taste and starting a meal with a sweet sensation is not the best thing. We also wondered why a croissant was served at a welcome snack. Anyway, did not disturb the usual impression of a perfect meal. Just as an end remark: as for the Pouilly Fuisse, which was nice indeed, I maintain my point that this is certainly not a Cote de Beaune, but a Macon wine.

“Probably the best in the city”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

What I like most was its incredible list of wine list. You name it and they have it. The food is great too. The restaurant is truly international in every sense of the world, and the service is truly world class. Don’t miss the sea food.
