This hotel is great for people on a budget who want to cook themselves. It has a fully equipped kitchenette. It's modern and clean. But terrible for smokers. I worst thing about this place is the name it confuses taxi and tuk tuk drivers they all assume you want to "check inn" and the or a china town hotel and they get lost even after calling the hotel. This hotel would benifit from business card with the address in Thai and a map on the back of it. Staff were ok and the street was quiet.

The rooms here are great, we stayed in a double room which was en suite and had a fridge and kitchen area to prepare and cook food if you don't fancy going out. Small but clean bathroom and lots of drawer and wardrobe space. Situated in the heart of busy china town but down a Side street so noise isn't an issue. There are computers where you have free access to the Internet and all staff were very helpful, would definitely stay here again

I have been staying at Check Inn most times I travel to Bangkok.. My last stay recently was a bit disapointing..The air conditioners are noisy and will wake you up at night banging and clanging.. And if they dont wake you the other guests will by banging their doors shut.... There is a big issue with ants so you cannot leave any food items or snacks out on the bench.. nor drop a crumb in your bed or the ants will be in there also.. The TV was not working and I was told no one could fix it and was still not working when I left.. They are suppose to be going 'greener' by using soap dispensers in the bathroom.. Unfortunately no soap was in mine and remained empty the three days I was there..The drain after you showered let off a very unpleasant smell.. If these issues could be fixed this hotel would be a real gem..
Ok the hotel is hidden down an alley way. This alley is home to the thai people and I would not consider it unsafe.. I found that everyone is very pleasant ..If you have lots of shopping to do then its ideal. Lots of eating places close by. Taxis do have issues finding the place but a hotel card makes it easier.. I found tuk tuks a better option. Yes I will stay here again. Its cheap and friendly but I just hope it can be maintained a bit better.

We stayed in deluxe twin room (507) from 18 to 25 May 2013.

Our room had a window and balcony. We were pleasantly surprised by the functional layout of the room. It overcame its compactness. The room, beds and bathroom were clean, air-conditioner was cold and free WIFI signal was strong.

The room also came with Safe box and a small kitchenette with a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, sink, cups, dishes and some kitchenware.

Decent breakfast delivered to room at our specified time. The hotel is much hidden in alley off busy Yaowarat road but is safe and not too hard to find. Simply drop off the taxi at Soi 8 along main Chinatown Street and walk about 100 m through the seemingly dangerous lane to the hotel. The hotel can also access directly across from a Buddhist temple. Although the location might look scary but it is safe to walk even at night.

Most importantly, cleaning ladies who also delivered breakfast to the room were cheerful and efficient, staff at 24-hr Reception Counter were friendly especially Mr Seth. He is very approachable, helpful, obliging and able to speak English. Upon checked out, we have left a luggage with him and would definitely stay here again for my next visit to Bangkok in the near future.

Perhaps we are familiar with bangkok chinatown, locating this hotel is not a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is reasonably clean with balcony, kitchenette, etc. For taxi or tuk tuk, tell the driver Yaowarat (Chinatown), then Charoen Krung Road Soi 14!

Room Tip: Room with balcony.
