Location is perfect if you plan to do a lot of shopping. Crossed the road from one of the side doors and i'm in Paragon. In about 5mins walk, i'm in Central World. A little over 10mins walk, i'm in Platinum Mall and Pratunam area.

Siam BTS station is about 5mins walk via Paragon Mall. From there you can pretty much go whereever (MBK, Chatuchak, Terminal 21, etc).

Loved that housekeeping left fresh fruits every day - be it mangosteen, longan or dragonfruit. And there's a Lavazza machine in the room.

Pool looked nice, though haven't had the chance to swim or lounge around.

Breakfast spread may be a bit limited compared to other similarly-rated hotel, but i loved that we don't need to queue for eggs, as we can already order from our table (i especially loved Siam Florentine poached egg with extra bacon). Nice food presentation too. And they have sparkling wine during breakfast. ;)

Toilet and bath area is spacious. Ours had a tub and a separate shower stall (with both handheld showerhead and rainshower showerhead). Toiletries and amenities are decent too. Towels were always clean and fresh.

We stayed three nights in an executive floor room. Great room just like their website pictures- very tasteful blend of modern and traditional design with very comfortable beds and the softest linen I've encountered in a while! The lobby and reception rooms downstairs are all stunning without being over the top, giving a refined and tasteful impression few hotels achieve. Great service, especially from concierge who were most helpful with booking restaurants, showing me places on a map had getting us taxis. No up selling to tours or limos which makes a nice change! The swimming pools and gardens are truely lovely- I just wished the weather had been better so we could enjoy them more. As others have said, great location by Siam bts and shopping centre.

There isn't much in other folks reviews concerning the executive lounge so I thought id provide a bit more information on this, in case helpful to others. Firstly it's a lovely space on top floor overlooking gardens and Bangkok beyond. Unlike most exec lounges they offer a full breakfast experience in the lounge with a multitude of choices including a la carte cooked options. Great coffee but served in small cups and saucers, so had three coffees each morning to get my caffeine hit! Service and atmosphere all a bit rarified which might not suit some. However they do allow shorts! Flip flops and vests would be pushing it though ;-) in the two hour evening cocktail session, unlike most executive lounges they will make you a proper cocktail! We found the evening service a bit hit and miss at times, having to wait a while for a fresh drink. We didn't have afternoon tea but when we had a cup of coffee one late afternoon in the lounge they brought us a tray of cakes which were very nice! So overall one of the better exec lounges I've experienced.

I'd definitely stay here again, and thanks to staff for their hospitality- greatly appreciated.

It's everything a 5-star hotel is expected to be. Additionally, it is just across the road from kidzania, ocean world & Madame Tussaud's. Great location for families with kids! Breakfasts are eventful just coz the spread is so varied & interesting. Pleased with kempinski.

On business, paid for the convenience, service and got my money's worth. The hotel layout could have done with batter planning. Access to the hotel by traffic was narrow and bottlenecked. Almost every where in Bangkok is like that anyway. Access to Paragon ought to have been covered, at least.

If you have to get a taxi to the airport, remind the staffs to get you a metered taxi. I was busy checking out and the staff asked if I would like a taxi the airport and I said yes. I had assumed that it will be a metered taxi and only realized when I got in and the driver asked for 400 baht to the airport. I told him to turn on his meter but there was none and it looked like a private arrangement between him and the hotel staff. I am also sure it was not a limousine by the hotel because the fee for one will be at least 1000 or more baht for the transfer. Finally, the driver agreed to charge me what I had for when I arrived by the metered taxi.

Do beware of Bangkok taxi drivers even if you had asked for a metered taxi because coincidentally, when I arrived, the driver also attempted to tell me he will charge for a flat fee of $500 baht to the hotel but I refused and told him to turn on the meter. Eventually, the journey only cost $300 including tips and toll charge of 27 baht.

But despite this unpleasant experience with the hotel staff, I will give the hotel 5 stars for the location. It is less than 15 minutes' walk from the back of the hotel to Platinum Shopping Mall. At night, there are many food stalls and stalls selling all sorts of things along the main road. And of course, it is a breeze just nipping to the adjacent Siam Paragon for meals as well.

I had booked a room with a balcony but was given a room without. However, having read about other reviews of Mosquitoes and Ants coming from the outside, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

My room at the Royal Wing was of a good size and came with a small kitchenette, complete with microwave, portable hotplate and the usual utensils. It may be part of the Residential Wing even since the room is of an odd shape.

Love the big fluffy towels, their bathrobes and inhouse toiletries and the spacious bathroom. Unfortunately, the housekeeping needs improving as they obviously do not vacuum the bathroom because hair was found in the same location upon check in till I check out.

The wifi in the room is extremely slow especially if more than one is logged on at the same time.

TV programs are limited, with Disney Channel in Thai. But when you are on holiday, you do not want to spend time in front of the TV so that is not an issue.

Overall, it is still a good choice especially if there is special offers for the rooms. .

Room Tip: Do send an email to the hotel to remind them the type of bed/room you want a few days before you arr...

Attended a meeting at this hotel & spent 3 nights here. The place met up to all expectations & more as described thro' the many positive reviews. It truly is a beautiful property and oasis to relax in the busy city of Bangkok. It's convenient location next to Siam Paragon is also a real bonus. The spa was excellent & the modern Thai restaurant Sra Bua Kiin Kinn had elegant decor & excellent food. Highly recommended to stay at when in Bangkok : )
