Stayed 3 nights. Excellent amenities and location. It is connected to Siam Paragon. Felt like an oasis even though it is right smack in the tourist belt. Wish the breakfast could have been better though. Overall it is a great stay.

This is my second time staying at Siam Kempinski hotel. Last time was Dec 2011 and it was a wonderful stay. 2 years gone and we visit Bangkok again in Nov 2013 for 4 nights and we didn't consider other hotel due to the convenience of the location at Siam and the luxury of in a Oasis inside the busy Siam.

Stay at Exec Room this time and have the complimentary Exec Lounge access. The room is the same as other room except exec room is located on the higher floor. The hotel is well maintain and couldn't see any wear and tear to anything. We are travelling with a one year old this time and the hotel has provided a cot free of charge. The bed sheet and blanket for the cot is clean and looks very new. My boy enjoyed the cot so much.

The higher floor gives you a view of the Siam, which is different view than on a lower floor room. Last time I stayed at level 4 and we felt we were living in a villa.

The Exec Lounge on 17th floor is good but the choice of food is limited, but services were great and not as crowded as having breakfast on the ground floor tho. We still enjoy having breakfast by the pool side.

Services were excellent and everyone is there to help.

Also went to the gym this time. It has all equipment that you need, room is clean and have a separate room for warmup/down/stretching with clean yoga mats provided. Towels and Water are available. Very nice setup. However, it may be a pain if you are not living in that wing. As you have to go to the ground floor and walk across to catch a different lift to get to the gym.

The only thing I'm unsure about is getting the bellboy to assist negotiate the taxi fare. We caught the taxi from the airport and it cost 350baht, however, on the return trip during offpeak hours, we were told it will cost 500baht?!? we didn't argue as it was listed on the taxi seat, but it didnt say where to start from.

The walk from the hotel to Siam BTS via Siam Paragon is nice and easy, and we thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Stayed at Siam Kempinski for two nights before leaving for a week long stay at Phuket. Had a amazing time at the hotel as its situated right in the heart of shopping district of Bangkok, with all the major malls (siam paragon, discovery, MBK, etc) either connected to hotel or at walking distance. So you do not spend hours negotiating hvy traffic of Bangkok, plus save some money on account of commutation (as taxi & tuk-tuk guys will charge you bomb even for small distances), metro station is also at walking distance from hotel. Hotel has a beautiful lobby, very nice central pool & rotunda. Staff are also very courteous & helpful, we arrived much earlier than our scheduled arrival time and were provided with early check in without any fuss. Breakfast spread at hotel is awesome with mix of authentic oriental & continental dishes. Rooms are elegantly done with modern amenities & free internet connection. Room service is also prompt and ready to go extra mile for you. Didnt try Spa (as you can find much cheaper options nearby). Overall hotel is worth every penny you spend. Its luxury and you have to pay for it...ciao

This is a truly 5 stars hotel. Conveniently located near shopping centers and underground station, this attractive hotel offers comfort of good quality, the rooms are spacious and well equipped bathrooms too. Wi-fi is included as well as soft drinks from the minibar. We loved the staff attitude which were up to our expectations and more. Everything here is impeccable and the European décor is very luxurious and tasteful. A hotel that can teach a few lessons to other hotels. Had a lovely time here.

Stayed here with my husband for 5 days. It was our first time in Bangkok, kempinski sure was the best place to stay-- Centrally located and right next to Siam paragon and other shopping centre. They upgraded us to the premium room. Hugh room, beautiful view, fabulous services from the minute we set foot in this hotel until the last second. The gentleman at the pool - Chatoporm (hope I got it right) greeted us by name and did everything he can for us. Big salute to you! Siam Kempinski, We will be back !

P.s
- have to agree with others about the buffet breakfast can get very busy, do try to get there b4 9:00am. Apart from the waiting for seating, the rest of the service still impeccable .
- spa at the hotel is a bit pricy but definitely worth the money.

We heard it was a good luxury hotel but the little details made the experience all a little disappointing.
First off we were made to wait around 2 hours for our room. They said they'll upgrade us to the cascade room which gives you direct access to the pool and would we mind waiting. We guessed that they were too busy and couldn't clean up the rooms in time for us so gave us this excuse.
Secondly, we had to queue up for the complimentary breakfast. I assumed it was because it was a Sunday and hence slightly busy but still we didn't expect to have to wait to be seated. The place for breakfast was just too small. The breakfast itself was nothing spectacular really.
Thirdly, there were no kettle in the room. We had to ring to have one brought to us.

All in all, I thought it could be a lot better. I think after this experience we might not return again.

Room Tip: If you're not planning on swimming then no need to go for the pool access rooms. Plus the hotel...

3 rd stay and it keeps getting better. A true oasis in Bangkok. The facilites are first class, right next to Paragon shopping center. Everything amazing at Paragon from food to High end cars and everything in between. The hotel staff is there for every need starting at my 1 am arrival. Most comfortable rooms, with incredible beds.

Room Tip: Gym and Pool are as good as it gets. Super staff at every station
