My friend and I ended up staying here twice, because we loved it so much! The rooms (dorms) are amazing, so clean, spacious, cosy, very big lockers. The only things missing are a personal bed light and a bin. Bathrooms are the same, beautiful, big and clean! Staff is really friendly, breakfast is incredible (especially when you're backpacking), the food in the restaurant is delicious. Would def come back a third time :-)

I just returned home from Bangkok today after staying 6 nights(9 Aug-15 Aug) as a solo traveler. It was a pleasant and comfortable staying at Feung Nakorn Balcony Rooms & Cafe,
within walking distance to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, National Museum, Khao San Road, Flower Market, N9(Tha Chang Pier) tourist boat station alongside of Chao Phraya River and
other historical sites. Especially I enjoyed Thai's common simple life with a vivid dietary habits to go to the local morning market(05~12 am) just 5 minutes walking distance during the stay.

Easy access to the center of BKK(Siam Center, bus fare is THB 14) by the airconditioned bus #48 from B&B.

For the Suvarnabhumi airport, to take the bus #48 to Siam Center(bus fare THB 14), to take sky train to N2(Phaya Thai, fare THB 22), and take Intercity train to Suvarnabhumi Airport(fare THB 45). Total time required 1 hour and 45 minutes including waiting the bus. vs total cost
THB 81 to the airport from the hotel.

The hotel staffs are very much attentive, friendly, helpful. The room is a quiet, a spacious, cleaness, comfy bed, cleaned bathroom, cleaning the room and changing the towel every day, 2 bottles of water and 3 packs of small snack supply daily and the food is a reasonably good.

Overall, I was more than Happy for the relaxation to stay here.

Stayed here for only one night before heading home. It was lovely, clean and with liitle extras in the room. I.e soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer etc.

Only thing that I wasn't happy about about was the buffet breakfast. There wasn't much to choose from. The corridors were noisy in the morning also.

Otherwise, the hotel and staff are lovely. Very close walking distance to koh san road and ferry.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights after landing in Bangkok airport. We are both aged 21 and it is our first trip to Thailand. We were very pleasantly surprised, the rooms were really spacious very clean, and nicely furnished, as was the bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly particularly with directions to local attractions. The location is excellent situated about a 10minute walk from the major sites such as the grandpalace, and was also about 10minutes walk from kho San road. The breakfast was basic but nice with cereal, fruit and toast with the option of having cooked food. We also had lunch here and the food was amazing, we would highly recommend trying it. Overall we thought it was good value for money and would definitely recommend it to groups of all types.

A great central location, not that you would notice as it's so quiet. You're about a 15min walk from Koh San and a lot closer to the temples etc..

Rooms are basic but nice and clean. They are set around a lovely courtyard. Nice restaurant.

Overall very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

I loved staying at Feung Nakorn Balcony Rooms. I booked a dorm in the 4 bed female room and had the room for myself most of the time. Feung Nakorn is perfectly located, walking distance from all the attractions in the old town. The service and staff are super friendly, patient, accommodating and ready to help. The food was nicely and carefully prepared and the breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. The accommodations were clean and well maintained, house keeping daily brings you a comlementary fresh bottle of water. (i wish it was cold). Towels are provided, along with bath soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Common areas are beautiful, peaceful and there is always a smoothy menu with fresh options to choose from at any time of the day and evening. Everything was great, the only thing was the mattress.. very hard and the pillow too, but I layered with my comforter on top which made it much easier to sleep in. The lockers are spacious, the bathroom is beautiful with morrocan tile and sinks. The water is just warm, but thats not a problem on a 90 degree weather. Ah! there is a phone in the room as well!

Room Tip: all the rooms are very nice, for a solo traveler, perhaps the best choice is the 4 bed dorm.

We booked one night at Feung Nakorn Balcony to check things out before committing to five more nights of staying here. The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, and the service is good. Khao San Rd was a short Tuk Tuk ride away and the Grand Palace and Wat Po are easily accessible from here. The only drawback was that we found a fantastic yoga studio, near Central Chidlom, which presented a challenge to get to. Otherwise, the hotel was fine in every way.
