Excellent accommodations for the price. Clean, nicely decorated room with a big bed- a bit on the firm side which seems typical of Thai beds. Free bottled water (2 per day). Western bathroom sans tub. The staff were very helpful, and I felt very safe and secure in the smallish hotel. Not a big deal at all, but be careful of the elevator the first time you use it- the door closes very quickly. If you're putting in multiple bags, place one in front of the door while you load the rest. Also, try to get directions to give the cab driver- because the hotel sets back off the street (a good thing!), it can be easy to miss your first time or two down Soi 3. It sets across the street near the 7-Eleven. Otherwise the location is great- near the trains and a shopping center. Internet was fast and reliable. I had to do work online every morning and had no problems.

Baan Silom Soi 3 is a superb little hotel in a very convenient location. A short walk from the night action on Patpong and Silom Road.
5 min walk from Chong Nonsi BTS or 15 min from Sala Daeng BTS. It's closer to Chong Nonsi but a little more difficult to find from there.
Street food in the area abounds so you are never left hungry
Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and provide all the basics. The decor is mundane but all totally functional.
Do not expect anything more than the basics - there is no room service, breakfast, concierge etc. If all you want are the three C's (Clean, Comfort, Convenient) then Baan Silom 3 delivers in spades. Will definitely recommend this place to friends.

This small hotel has exceeded all expectations. It is spotlessly clean and all the staff have been great. The location is excellent literally a five minute stroll to Sala Daeng and the night Market. Have stayed in many places in Bangkok over the last 15 years am only sorry that I hadn't discovered this place earlier. Can't be beaten on price location and cleanliness a real pleasure to have stayed and one that I will repeat in future without any hesitation. Thank you
