had 2 stop of for a couple of night in this mad city ,,have tried so many hotels all not suitable ,until now, wassnt put of by the negative reports ofothers ,,the rooms are big ,wifi excellent unuasuall for bkk aand free ,tv many channels even English, room has blackout curtains so great for sleeping and in a courtyard (enclosed)so no noise from the madness outside, didnt have breakfast ,reception girls where fantastic help and so quick and good information,,,pool was a little small but good for quick dip during the day, only 4 chairs ,,the only downside is the new apartment being built nextdoor so rather noisey during working hours,100meteres from skytrain and 2 stops to bus station so ideal location,,,big Tesco foodhall and many restaurants at skytrain so great choices

Room Tip: book a room in the courtyard ,not by the pool,,,,,QUIETER

On first acquaintance this (Japanese) hotel ticks all the boxes for location, price & comfort. The front desk staff are charming. Our first room by the pool provided a comfortable bed, some decent TV channels & a large bathroom with hot water on demand. Although breakfast is somewhat quirky, offering a single set menu, a suitable alternative was provided for me on request, as an alternative to the 'dinner' that seems to go everywhere as a Thai 'breakfast'. Deciding to rebook for two more nights I was relocated to an even nicer room on the 2nd floor (read 1st if you live in the EU). However it soon became apparent that the contents of the fridge hadn't been relocated to the new room. I was invited to inspect the old fridge & in so doing encountered (allegedly the owners) two truly enormous St Bernard dogs being exercised on a leash around the pool by a staff member, however all three were taking up ALL the pathway around the pool. I don't like the company of dogs at the best of times (& would not have stayed here had I known beforehand) so with no other option available to me as I was forced off the 'people's' pathway, suffered a quick skittle on the decorative pebbles surrounding the pool & a rapid entry into the (thankfully pleasantly warm) pool, fully clothed & equipped I hasten to add. Luckily I suffered no injury (although cracked ribs & a gashed skull could easily have been a nasty outcome). I exited asap & stripped off my expensive camera, smartphone & pacsafe bag as rapidly as possible to try to save them. The hotel is at this very moment, trying to dry them. I have travelled the world & stayed at countless hotels from 5 to 0 stars yet I have never encountered such crass & thoughtless decision making by a hotel manager. Dogs & pools just don't mix in any circumstance (for obvious reasons) & those areas that are for guests should be exactly that, just for guests. I would have been more than happy to rebook here again, but whilst pampered pets take priority over guests its just not possible. I'm well aware that 'i****s' start just outside a hotel's door in most places, I just didn't expect to encounter one working inside. Enough said, its time for a proper dip in the pool, I hear the water's warm.

Room Tip: If you have an aversion to sharing (all) of your space with dogs don't stay here. Otherwise its...

The green bells hotel is well located in sukhumvit 79 very close to bts onut.
The room are pretty new, clean and well maintained
However rooms are missing some fresh sun light.
I saw some articles complaining about front desk staff but in my case I have nothing to complain.
Food service in hotel Is quite standard but there is a very good restaurant 20m away, cafe di maria, servicing Italian food.
We'll, globally I believe it s a good value hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Breakfast is served as a "set", that is no buffet en don't ask for more! We asked for one extra toast and had to pay 30 baht extra. Lousy service! There is no bar. The room however is clean and complete. A superkingsize bed, bath, safe and fridge. Located near Skytrain station On Nut, half an hour travelling to the Central Pier, from where we visited the khlongs, the grand palace, chinatown etc.

The worst experience I had in Bangkok!
1. We arrived 3 hours early, The receptionist looked very dissapointed and did not smile a bit. They kept us waiting although it turned out the room was available and clean. (and it was not much fun to wait with a baby & 2 children)
2.Finally we got the familiy suite - (which we paid for 120$)
The our room was big but the girls room was tiny with no windows.
3. The girls wanted to watch some TV but at all the stations seem neuclear like 50 years ago.
4. the suite had kitchen but with no plates/forks/knifes... and it took them ages to bring us.
5. The next day, when we went siteseeing,we put the green "please clean" sign, and ask specifically that they will clean the room.
We came back 5 hours later and pf course - no one cleaned our rooms.
6. Once we bring in food - the kitchen was full of small flies which were all over our food.
7. The bath is leaking all over the floor - if the water is heating the wall (no drainage)
8.Very poor breakfast - and they pack all the food in your plate and serve it immediatly including coffee (as if trying to rush you out).
9. The bad is wide but so soft like jelly. Our sleep was bad and each move - I woke up my wife.
To summarize - we paid for a 5 star hotel and got the worst 3 star hotel with awfull service.
I truely do not recommend get anywhere near this hotel.

Room Tip: It impossible to know if you get a room with or without window. reserve for no more then 1 night. E...

Can say my experience at "The Green Bells" was very good. Check-in was easy and staff friendly. You really couldnt expect more from this room at a great price. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. Best hot shower i've had in Bangkok for along time. Thick, big towels and a bunch of toiletries thrown in. Aircon was excellent and so was the lighting. Bed was huge and super comfy, add a flat screen and a safety deposit box and you have one of the best valued hotels in BKK. There is a great Wine/Tapas Bar one minute walk from the hotel and "ON NUT" BTS would be 5 minutes at most. The big bonus for me was the undercover parking. Didnt have to park on the street, miles away. As i visit BKK frequently, this will be my hotel of choice. Sometimes peoples expectations are to high. If your looking for 5 STAR, then go stay in a 5 STAR. Be realistic.

Room Tip: Smile when you arrive, you'll be suprised what a difference it makes.

A super quite surrounding with large deluxe room, bathtub, good Wi-Fi in room, pool, friendly reception staffs. Very near to On Nut BTS station. Terrible breakfaSt! Should improvise more on the breakfast menu.
