We spent 2 night at the Sivatel.had a 2 bedroom suite.the room and bathroom were spacious, clean and pleasant.staff attentive and helpful.
hotel is 5 min. walk from sky train- so easy to get around, but nut much around the hotel (no restaurants, cafes, shops)so you need to take the train for everything.
breakfast- very rich, nice variety, but-no matter at what time, all was half empty and it seemed that only when we asked, things would be filled.moreover-at a hotel regarding itself 5 * I would expect them to serve more than stale black coffee as part of the breakfast and not have to pay extra for a cappuccino)

Room Tip: As there are construction work going on at the building next door-ask for for rooms at the other sid...

Dear Milly S,

Thank you for staying at Sivatel Bangkok. It is so true that our guests can easily get around by the sky train and that includes the nearby opened " Central Embassy", the most luxurious shopping paradise, which is just adjacent to the hotel.

We are happy that you enjoyed our breakfast and yes, coffee is now served as per our guests' preference with no extra charge. Thank you for your kind comments.

We do hope you will be staying with us during your next visit to Bangkok.

The hotel has an awesome pool located at one of the top floors. The food was awesome they had everything literally everything during breakfast. The room was awesome there was an apple TV and an iPod dock electricity curtains a small living room it was great. The hotel is located very close to sukkhumvit street where everything is happening. I would definitely recommend it to friends. The hotel is also located next to the underground station

I booked this hotel for me and 2 friends to end our 3 week backpacking holiday with a night of (affordable) luxury before travelling home. It definitely did not disappoint! The infinity pool was a major selling point for us. Staff were warm and welcoming. Facilities were of a high quality and I was pleasantly surprised that dining reflected a 5 star rating but without the excessive 5 star price. The hotel is in a good location and is well connected to the airport, nearby shopping and cineplex centre and the Saturday market with a nearby train station (much cheaper than taxis or tuktuks and easy to use). The only downfall of this hotel was that our bedrooms did not have wifi, but this was freely available in the lobby and our standard room had two TVs with internet access. Highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: We had an extra bed put in a standard double room for a third person - the extra bed was the same go...

Dear Alysha31,

We really hope that you and your friend have enjoyed your travelling experiences for the whole 3 weeks. We even feel great that you chose to have a ralaxed and refreshing night at Sivatel Bangkok before returning home.

Thank you for your kind review and may we inform you that we do have Wi-Fi in every bedroom. There was an incident, however, that one of our Wi-Fi boosters was down recently but it has been immediately fixed the following day. This might coincide with what you mentioned. Please accept our apology for this.

Thank you also for your recommendation on Sivatel Bangkok.

I stayed here in April 2013 and came back to stay here again in June 2014. It was great to see familiar faces working as the bellman and waitress at the restaurant for breakfast (The Porch). I believe this continuity shows what a quality place this is that most of the staff have not changed. I was impressed with the accommodations for the World Cup matches this time around since there was not the World Cup during my last stay. Cafe Jardin on the 1st floor had a large screen on the wall that showed the matches (11pm, 1am, and 5am) and had a special on food and drinks. I enjoyed watching the USA vs Portugal match and others. The room was a 2 story loft with kitchen, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The biggest change from last year is that the mall across the street was now open (Central Embassy). You can walk south on Wittayu Road (aka Wireless Road) and use the BTS skywalk to cross over to this mall without needed to worry about traffic as it is elevated and goes right into the 2nd level of the mall.

Room Tip: 26th floor has the 2 level suites which are very spacious

We selected this hotel based on location and the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed, the location is perfect, and close to all the main shopping centres, and with the BTS next door easy to get around.
Staff and service were 10/10, our room was lovely, although my only complaint was the shower does not drain, so there is always water left in the base.
I would also suggest a fresh fruit platter each day would be nice, after 3 days our banana were not great.
We had our son with us, so had an extra bed added, but because the rooms are so large, we had plenty of space, and still had our privacy, as the bed room is separate.
Breakfast had a large selection, I understand it has recently been changed, so there was a good variety of both Asian style & western foods., the hotel has obviously taken note after some of the feed back.
The pool area was lovely, and we enjoyed cooling each day after a day out shopping and exploring Bangkok.
A suggestion, regarding eating out, we ate twice in the cafe under the hotel, and had very nice meals, but it was expensive by Bangkok standards, over the road is the new Embassy shopping centre, it has an amazing food court in the basement, with a huge range of eating options, plus on the higher levels of this complex are some very up market restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops, which we unfortunately only discovered on our last night.
