strategic location! nearby the mrt station, just bout 3min walk. and opporsite road of the hotel got a small very clean restaurant selling chicken rice and pork rice. It is tasty and cheap! you may try it out~
there is night market nearby that is good to shop as opening around 9pm till 5am...is a never sleep area.

Room is comfortable, modern and clean. (at least not olden type)
Breakfast area modern and full of classical musical instrument to explore.
Staff are helpful and especially the person in charge of travel group sitting next to the entrance, she is very friendly and helpful, highly recommend.

With Bangkok Traffic packing up like crazy nowadays it only seems right to stay at a hotel out of the usual pratunam or main downtown area. (It takes almost 10mins to walk to the main road to grab a cab at these areas)

TRANSPORT:
CMYK is perfect for it's strategic location. It's so near(4mins walk) to huay kwang MRT(exit 1) beside a Toyota showroom and we take the train everywhere we went. it's only about 10 mins to sukhomvit/asok station to transit to the BTS.

From Airport:
U can choose to take the airport link to Makkasan and transit at Phetchaburi MRT but it's a long walk esp if you are carrying massive amt of luggage. i would suggest to just spend that 400/500 to get a taxi to the hotel unless you are a really light traveller.

LOCATION:
Outside the hotel there's many massage parlous and good food just across the hotel (pork leg rice or 199bhat buffet steamboat) or u can go famous som boon seafood or hway kwang night market until 3am.
7-eleven is just to the left of the hotel for any necessity.
At night it's near to thonglor soi 10 or ekkamai via cab if you want to party.
Not forgetting 1 stop away from Hollywood Awards Disco one of the best few entertainment clubs.

Room:
As for rooms it's very clean and bathtub is perfectly placed near the bed(Romantic).
It's bright and cheerful with the different colors schemes of the rooms.
I love the side lights on the headrest of the bed.
Super good free wifi too considering other hotels like Baiyoke still charge for wifi(WTF)
The people are very nice, can hold a conversation and speak a fair amt of english

REVIEW of REVIEWS:
I have read the other reviews and agree that their booking is quite screwed up with them selling out more higher end rooms and not being able to get everyone their intended rooms but again it's a norm for such things to happen at budget hotels.
No theft happen in my room, I locked my luggage everytime i leave.
It's not a dingy alleyway(i have seen worst). It's just a side road beside the toyota showrooom. because the main road is very busy and u cant stop your car there.
Service possible to be quite slow, but it's because they are understaffed. I see the same staff almost everyday(dont they take a rest?)
I just take it with a pinch of salt if such things happen(it's a budget hotel). It's still a nice place to stay despite the negative reviews

Overall:
Darn good place to stay, value for money, love the MRT and nearby food, will return again!!
but i must try to pronounce the road name
PRAAA - CHA - RA PHEM - HEMM SOI SUM!

Room Tip: Just book and pray u get a good room. It's a budget hotel for christ sake...

We are terribly disappointed with the Hotel. We brought 10 pairs of contact lens with no degree and it was stolen from the Room. Although the contact lens cost only 1700 batt, we are writing this to inform you about the horrible service by the hotel. We informed the manager and she was reluctant to help. After much complaint and threatening for a police report, they reviewed the Video tape. Their only comments were that the cleaner had thrown the 10 new pairs of Contact lens away. We asked for compensation and the Manager refused to pay. This is a extremely dishonest hotel that has no honour and decency.
This is a Thief HOUSE and Robbery is their kind. I cannot believe that the manager had the cheek to say that they do not compensate for the housekeeper doing. So if you are not careful they may throw your watch and passport? I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE.

We booked this place after traveling for several months in South America, Europe, and Africa: we were excited to find a spot that advertised bright, clean rooms Deluxe Rooms with King sized beds, fast wifi, and close proximity to the MRT (mass transit).

We arrived after flying Ethiopia to Thailand and were shown to our room:

-The online booking availability said "King," our confirmation email said "King," and we were shown to a dingy room with a queen sized bed, two pillows (instead of the four pillows plus bright and cheery throw pillows as shown on the website pictures), and scuff marks and dirt stains all over the walls. The room looked as if it hadn't had a deep clean in three years.

-We showed our confirmation email and asked to change rooms and have our reservation honored. We were told they did not have king sized beds in the room we had booked: their website and confirmation emails were erroneous. The woman at the front desk could do nothing; her higher-up could do nothing. We asked to speak to a manager: unavailable.

-We were shown to an identical room next door and asked if we wanted to switch. It was the same size, the same level of dirtiness. (They said the rest of the hotel was booked full. Our room and the one next door were literally the two smallest on the elevator/fire escape map.) We declined.

-Eventually, we were offered an "upgrade" to a room with the promised-king sized bed at a cost to us of 200 baht a night. We refused on principal and asked for the manager to contact us when he/she returned. We emailed the manager. We facebooked the manager. Three nights of our four night stay went by without contact.

-The water in our "Deluxe" Room was barely hot even at the highest temperature settings (it was a wall-mounted electric box heater)

-The internet was so slow I couldn't upload an Instagram photo from my iPhone, let alone get online work accomplished.

-On the final night, they moved us to one of their suites with a king sized bed. Still no contact from the manager, but the front desk attendee showed us to the room and apologized.

-The Executive Room was a bit cleaner and brighter than our dingy Deluxe Room; the shower was much nicer with hotter water and hard-plumbing (no visible water heater mounted inside the shower)

Other Notes:
-Breakfast was worth skipping
-Hallways on floors 3 and 4 (where we stayed) were constantly piled high with dirty linens and room-cleaning carts (though cleaning staff was very pleasant)
-There are A.C.s, in the room, but the hallways on floors 3 and 4 (where we stayed) were hot and humid and had a foul odor for five days in a row
-We were caught in one of Bangkok's rainy season downpours and arrived at the hotel drenched; we called for extra towels from our room (we were given two to begin with, but on the second day housecleaning forgot to replace our hand towels and bathmat) - the front desk said they couldn't provide extra towels without charging us 50 baht apiece. I insisted and they delivered.

The one thing that did deliver: proximity to the MRT. We were happy leave CMYK as often as possible.

If you're looking for bright, beautiful, clean, comfortable spaces with fast wifi and helpful staff: avoid CMYK and enjoy the rest of Bangkok.

Room Tip: If you can't be convinced to look for a better place: try aiming for a room on one of the top fl...

My wife and booked two nights here Sept. 4th &5th. 2012. The place is definetly not new and is in much need of an upgrade. The building is located in a dingy alleyway, which you cannot tell by the photos, they must have been taken when the building first opened. Very basic in every aspect, you get what you pay for. I enjoyed the hotel next door, they had a nice bar and a great musician playing there, much nicer place, but they were not on the internet. I wouldn't stay again and I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the traffic, very noisy at night

I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. I'd say that the room is very comfortable and spacious enough for me for a very reasonable price. Although there were times that I had a hard time communicating with the hotel staffs in English, they very friendly, respectful and helpful. The cleaning ladies always greeted with me a warm smile. I love the hotel lobby, very clean and has a minimal design. They also have a pretty fast wi-fi connection. As for the food, I had a buffet for breakfast. Well, don't expect that there are lots of choices. The food is alright, but they do serve fresh fruits everyday. The restaurant staffs are not as friendly like the hotel staffs. So don't expect that you'd get greetings from them. The hotel is located near Huay Khwang station. It takes 5 minutes to the station, but of course it depends on how fast or slow you walk. Near the hotel is a Thai Spa, which I tried last night before going home. They offer various massages. The starting price is 300 Baht. The staffs also speaks English. There's also a 7-11 store a few minutes walk from the hotel. On the ground floor area of the hotel, there's a mini dress store, a mini spa where in you can have a massage or if you want you can also have your nails done. If I remember it correctly, 300 Baht per hour or 200 Baht for half an hour of massage. For the nails, I think 100 Baht. Behind the hotel there's an available ATM if you need one. Very convenient. Last, if you are planning to watch the cultural show "Siam Niramit" it's just one station away for 15 or 20 Baht. If you wanna go by taxi it taxes around 10 minutes which would cost around 40-50 Baht. Enjoy your stay in this hotel!

I stayed at CMYK for 3 nights during my visit to Bangkok last week.

The hotel is very new and clean. Its location is good because it is just 5 minutes walking distance to the Huay Khwang MRT station. There is a night market too just opposite MRT station and it was a good one too to find some local foods and goodies.

However my experience with the wifi was not that good. Staffs were okay and can be better in terms of service.

I will consider to stay in this hotel again if I am visiting Bangkok for leisure.
