I've stayed in this hotel nearly a dozen times in the last year, and it has a lot of things going for it. It's in a good location in the Sukhumvit Rd. area of Bangkok, it's staff are generally very friendly and flexible with things like luggage storage, early check-in, and the like. It is clean, comfortable and modern, but over the past year I have seen it decline as it lacks the basic maintenance necessary to keep it up to a reasonable standard. Among the problems I have seen this year: a massive leak in the window in one of the front executive rooms left the bathroom flooded after a rainstorm, sliding doors with broken tracks leave them unusable, clogged drains cause standing water and leaks, warped floorboards cause sliding doors to grind into the wood and stick, broken fixtures, loose shower heads, broken LAN outlets, and an electrical problem which forced relocation of the entire 8th floor during one stay. And on the occasions when I have made the effort to report these problems, they rarely get addressed.
Management: you guys have a nice hotel here. Please don't let it slide downhill by neglecting basic maintenance. Monitor and fix problems and keep the hotel a nice place to stay.More
