Like staying here when in Bangkok. Great rooms, good food and good wifi. The beds are more comfy than my house, Staff friendly and the hotel is in a superb location, being pretty close to BTS, shopping and good nightlife.

We stayed here for 1 1/2 weeks in February. As stated above, the hotel's new name is Lohas Suites. Hotwire never informed us of the name change so we were very confused when our taxi driver dropped us off here at 2 in the morning. Luckily, the staff told us we were at the correct hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor and very nice. The best thing was having a dual washer/dryer in the studio. It took forever to wash and dry a single load but beat having to drag our laundry elsewhere.

Used to be the Amari suites and recently taken over by Super Hotels based in Japan. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was spacious, nicely appointed, though there was a problem with the small washer/dryer in the room- it wouldn't dry. A/C was excellent- cleaning service was perfect. Breakfast was a bit sparse for a buffet- and expensive (relatively speaking) if you don't have a coupon.
Hotel is situated at the far end of Soi 2. There is a hotel tuk-tuk you can use which helps if you are taking the BTS to/from the airport and have luggage, but otherwise, it's a pleasant walk.

If you want a quiet walk, go up Soi 2. If you want other options, take the back entrance which is near the on-site restaurant and head up Nana st- bars, taxis, tuk-tuks and street food vendors galore. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the BTS- check google and you can walk a crooked path right to Nana station. Up Nana, right at Seven Seas, left at end of street, straight to Sukhumvit.

Reasonably priced, excellent location, good service. Not much more you can ask for.

The Aparthotel Lohas its in a small soi near Nana (10 to 15 minutes walking) where actually there is almost nothing.. They have complimentary tuk tuk service to take you from the hotel to the Sukhumvit road. The rooms are quite big with a small kitchen that can be better equipped. Bathroom come with shower and bath and japanese style toilette. Bed is big and comfortable with lcd tv and quite good selection of international channels. No balcony is provided for standard rooms. Top floor has a nice swimming pool and fitness centre. Lobby is under construction now. Staff very professional and helpful. Internet was included.

1411 and...
My husband is handicapped.
Especially if we must travel, stay in a hotel and so on. We have to go to places who are equipped for his special needs. This is giving us many problems.
But, like usually, there is "a light in the dark". We were lucky to find the “Lohas” Superhotel. It is perfectly done for us. Rooms, built with wide doors, large bathrooms and even the swimming pool is for hem easy to enter.
I am very thankfull to the persons thinking about others who have not the luck to be in good health.
Now we know where to stay in Bangkok, the “Lohas” Superhotel. Beside the above mentioned, we can write a lot of other good about this place, but this you find in comments of other guests.
Kind regards
Thomas Brogle (Switzerland)
P.S. 1411 is a common executive room.

This hotel was orignally booked whilst an Amari Residence, and due to confusion with the booking agency, had emailed the Lohas several times. They got off to a good start due to the helpfulness of the front office manager. On arrival our room was upgraded to a two bedroom suite, things were looking good!! Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. The room was large with two bathrooms, one fitted with a bath/shower the other with a shower stall, there is also a washer/dryer and kitchenette with hob. The entire place needed a thorough clean, the worktops were greasy, the seating stained, floor area clean where seen, but under furniture covered in dust and debris, the shower had small mould areas around the hinges, the hot water supply sporadic, the ceiling was stained around the main AC unit, the AC in the living area and master bedroom did not work. They promptly fixed the AC, only to find it leaked water into the room, (now knew why roof stained) the AC repaired next day, and roof repainted in silk emulsion, rest of roof matt, this seemed to sum up the hotel, a lack of interest by both staff and owners. The room was devoid of decoration, giving it a drab soulless feel. The free wifi at times did not exist, due to poor signal strength, the lobby being the only decent reception area. Conclusion: The hotel requires renovation. I would really have liked to give this hotel a good report, the rooms are well proportioned, it is reasonably well situated at the end of Soi 2, with access to Soi 4 if you are looking for nightlife Bangkok style. The tuktuk drops off at Sukhumvit road with easy access to BTS, and shopping.

A bit off the beaten track, but since taxis are the name of the game thats not too much of a problem. Large serviced apartment style rooms, mine was too big in fact, I should have gone smaller and cheaper. Great 10th floor pool and friendly staff. Will use again!
