“Amazing ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our holiday in the yama residence. The staff are very friendly and make you feel special. When we arrived we where greeted with a drink which was very nice as it was so hot and sticky outside. Once we had checked in which was very easy we were given our room keys and proceeded to our room. The room was amazing with views over the city. The pool was very nice but not many sunbeds. We returned for 1 night at the end of our holiday and upon arrival we had our room upgraded. We would recommend this hotel and definitely return.

Dear diverdom23, thank you for your review and for describing your experience with us as amazing. Always good to read such positive comment. We are planning to get a few more sunbeds for our pool as it is very popular and yes not so big. Hopefully you’ll notice the difference on your next visit.

What did we love most about The Muse? It's great location in downtown Bangkok? It cloud-like beds? It's topaz pool? It's classy service? Pretty much all together made this a truly memorable stay. This is a wonderful place to make as your base when visiting the Thai capital.
The aesthetic is wonderful. Someone with a very keen eye has seen to every detail. An elegant foyer with hints of the Belle Epoch lead you into the cool vibey reception staffed by a beautiful and uber efficient team. Our room, on the 11th floor, had city views, an enormous (and outrageously comfy) bed and a bathroom from the pages of a top notch design magazine.
Breakfast was outstanding, the infinity pool overlooking the city skyline was bags of fun and the rooftop bar with its sweeping views and New York-style design oozed class. Importanty, the service we received here was some of the best that I have received anywhere. The Thais have a reputation for their friendliness and charm. The team here had that in buckets.
LOVED it. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Dear drewmqSydney, thank you very much for posting such a great review on TA. Delighted of course that your experience was very positive but very pleased to read that what made it special was the fantastic hospitality received from the team. Always a delight to read as a GM. The team is young and their enthusiasm never fell to impress me.
Thank you again and please come back any time.

When I was eight, I became a stowaway for the first time. Mum and Dad took us to one of those water parks with slides and a wave machine and big floats. And I just didn't want to leave. So, when it seemed almost time to, I hid.

I survived for about an hour and learnt that it made my Dad beetroot mad and that the water park wasn't so fun when you were stood hiding in one place, behind a wall. My career as a stowaway stuttered before I went to Big School, and hasn't been even a hobby since.

But Hotel Muse made me think twice, then three times, about a new vocation. It's that seductively good.

As the front doors are opened to you, the waft of cool chic draws you in; enticing and exciting, like that first smell of chocolate for Charlie as he stepped into Willy Wonka's factory. In it's gentle layering of sophistication and warm desire to help you enjoy your time with them, there's that sense of special throughout.

Don't miss:
1. A dip and a bath. Yes, both. The pool's not meant for swimming. It's meant for a dip, 19 floors up, amongst the skyscrapers, with a cocktail. Followed by a pad down to your room and a soak in the bath, sexily separated from your bed by just a vast window.
2. That delicious white marshmallow of a bed.
3. The 5 minute stroll to the Skytrain station. Be swept (in air-con) another 5 minutes to meet Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo and Co. at the new Siam Paragon centre. Or ride for 20, to the fresh mango (and everything else) stores of the outdoor Chatuchak market.

Miss:
1. Our concierge's unhelpful, in fact, total lack-of, pointers to a traditional Thai food spot to which the local go. We found one: hop in a cab to Thipsamai for Pad Thai and Orange Juice. Literally, all they serve, but dazzlingly well.
2. Only staying one night like we did.

Despite my thoughts of becoming a stowaway again.

This was the second time I stayed in Muse Hotel. The hotel is full of European atmosphere. Love the design and small details of the hotel. The room size was good, king size bed was quite comfortable. Especially in love with the bathroom, very very classic.

Hotel is 10-15 mins walking distance away from BTS Chit Lom station, the hotel is surrounded by 7-11, restaurants, local snacks and massage store.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Don't miss the speakeasy bar on 24 and 25F, Medici restaurant at B1 is also a good place to dine. Delicious food and nice dining environment with a reasonable price, very recommend to dine here.

There's not a review of this hotel that doesn't mention the beds. Let's get it out there. The bed linen is stupendously luxurious.

I love the fusion design and the detail is amazing.

Conveniently located about 300 metres from the Skytrain and Central World, this is the ideal springboard for the holiday shopper.

The breakfasts are good and I enjoyed the Speakeasy.

Any review must be weighed against the price paid and on this basis I give it five stars. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Hotel Muse for 3 nights in Yama Residence Room which was on the 23rd floor, great views of the city. Room was very nice and spacious with very comfy bed. Décor was fantastic throughout the Hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was an international buffet which gave you an insight into a Thai breakfast. Dined at the Sun Tha Ros restaurant which was exceptional as were the cocktails at the Speakeasy bar, offering great views of the city sky line. Brilliant Hotel, would recommend to anyone looking for luxury in the city.

Room Tip: Yama Residence is a little extra but the views are worth it!

Dear Chris H, thank you very much for your very good review of Hotel Muse. Very pleased that you enjoyed what we have to offer. Su Tha Ros our Tahi restaurant is one of the best kept secret in town and Speakeasy our roof top bar, well the place to see and be seen at sunset.

Thank you for the recommendation and see you again very soon.

It is very luxury hotel. very fashionable in colonial style. Everything is perfect.
It is close to the crowded touristic street and not so far from the most famous attractions in the town.
The roofbar is nice and cool. Good for drinking a cocktail.
I suggest rooms on the top.
