“Good food, easy access, hard beds”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

A warm welcome: While we waited for our room we had access to the pool incl towels.

Generous and clean rooms with very hard beds. Water taps were hard to open/close. Free wifi, but when your device/laptop goes to sleep you have to login again. Irritating. The flashing blue LED on the power card switch and the green LED ring on a device in the ceiling (router?) lit up the room during the night. Technology should never disturb like that!

Not that many restaurants in the neighborhood, except for streetfood, but the hotel's restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Have to mention their Chicken Cashew that is made with charcoal grilled vegetables.

Good location if you plan to take the morning bus from Ekamai. Also the BTS and a good convenient store are located near the hotel.

Would we stay here again? For a first night before travelling by bus from Ekamai to Koh Chang, Jasmin is definitely a good option.

Room Tip: Rooms facing BTS station are more noisy.

Although the hotel is a bit far from the nightlife of Sukhumvit, a BTS right at the gate more than makes it up. I got a twin bed accommodation and I had a very comfortable stay. I reached the hotel at around 7:00 am and had to wait for a few hours to get the room. I had requested for an early check-in by mail but I didn't receive any response. This is not expected. I would advise the hotel to respond to the customer queries. The staff at reception was helpful and they helped me by giving advise on the places to visit in Bangkok.

well located in the upper sukhumvit with very easy access to bts phra khanong station (just next to it~!) ,which makes it favorite for many japanese & chinese tourists. overall hotel is still in very good conditions: good-sized room with separate toilet and bath/shower. kitchenette with full-sized fridge and washer (coin-in dryers are available on the top floor next to swimming pool and gym) breakfast is a surprise with lots of choices. it might be a bit far from central tourist/shopping area but still worth to try when considering the price & service.

Room Tip: ask for the higher level or the room without facing the skytrain station if you wanna keep the noise...

An excellent choice for business or a short holiday in Bangkok. The general facilities are comprehensive and good. The rooms are spacious and well designed - No designer awards here, but functional and comfortable in a contemporary style. The staff are all very helpful and professional. The rack rates are not particularly cheap, but they often seem to have great special rates.

Many of the guests seem to be Japanese salarymen on assignement. They seem to stay on the lower floors, which presumably are mostly rented by the month. There appears to be a very big difference in wear and tear in those rooms, compared to the higher floors.

While it is not directly in the heart of the action, the Jasmine is amazingly well placed next to a BTS station, for easy access to the whole stretch of Sukhumvit and Rama 4 Road, which gets you to the Silom/ Sathorn areas very quickly by taxi.

This was my second stay and I will definitely be back.

Room Tip: IMPORTANT: Try to get a room on floor 16 or higher if at all possible! They are generally in much be...

Accommodation was great. Large rooms. Our suite also included a washing machine which was really helpful. Hotel pool okay, yet small. Only complaint was breakfast. Despite the vast array of food, all was cold. The burners under the serving dishes were either not lit, or had burned out. This happened everyday. I would therefore not include breakfast at this hotel. Also, breakfast is "self service" yet on a busy morning staff could not even cope with even clearing tables, keeping clean crockery available or keeping the coffee pot full. There was clearly no management direction in the restaurant at breakfast, or at dinner in the evening. This hotel has no public bar and the nearest is a train ride away. This hotel gets 4 star mark from me for the suite. Great views and vast space.

Great rooms and view, reasonable breakfast . We paid Euro 45- double, service is good , near a few good cheap restaurants , special Baht 65- for Singaha beer in the hotel restaurant which is cheaper than most bars . Has a pool with a view.Hotel is next to Pra Kanong BTS train station, one stop to Ekamai station with great restaurants ( steak,Japanese,Korean, thai ,Italian ) just walk 5 minutes up Ekamai street. Good place to stay currently as Jasmine hotel is down at Soi 67 Sukhumvit . Political issues have blocked street from Soi Asoke (soi 21 sukhumvit ) up to centre of city so getting taxis is not easy ,better to take BTS skytrain..

Room Tip: High floor with aview
