I really love this place! I have been to several locations.
I visited Din Thai Fung in the afternoon for lunch and it was not so busy. The menu looked smaller then the ones in China/HK? The food was great and I haven enjoyed it again.

One of our favourite places to eat while in Bangkok we went here a few times and were never disappointed. First time tried the chicken wontons in spicy sauce (these are amazing) the vegetable and pork wontons (also good) the pork steamed buns (yum) and vegetable dumplings (ok). I guess it's a personal preference thing but would rate the wontons over the dumplings any day. The wantons were so good that our other visits were for chicken wantons only (6 per serve) and than we would move on to another location for mains. Also worth trying the cucumber wrapped in pork (a bit different) and the stuffed chillies (very tasteful). All food is made from scratch and the place is quite large but always seems full. Menu is reasonably priced. You are given an order form - tick what you want and the staff return go through it with you and go off and place your order. Service is satisfactory because it can get busy, there is a bit of a wait for food but every time we were there everything came out at the same time (bonus). Also don't worry if you want to just get one dish (like we did) they don't frown on you and don't pressure you to buy more.
Well worth a try

What can I say? Simple the best dumplings! We visit this restaurant regularly and are never disappointed. This time, and much to our surprise there was no queue at the entrance, which made our visit even better. The side dishes are superb, the service very fast and reliable and the price is very attractive for the quality of the overall meal. Highly recommended for the dumpling aficionado!

Freshest dumplings I've ever tasted! Other dishes like the oriental salad and steamed chicken soup (with a broth 6 hours in the making) were terrific. Restaurant has a bright airy setting where you can forget you're in a depressing shopping mall and just watch the cooks at their work. Highly recommended!

Not cheap. Dtf never is. I've eaten dtf in Sydney, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. This is fairly consistent food, just the service lacking. In Taiwan the staff are sooo much better. But, for a good reliable feed you can go here.
Or for cheap sushi, head one floor down to the boat place....
