The food was excellent. The ambience of the boat was great. What a terrific way to see the Bangkok waterfront! Our entertainment (a singer) was awesome - what a voice! An inexpensive evening of terrific food and entertainment. Don't miss it.

The Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise... is a very good. Though it might look very tourist in concept.... still it's a very good experience. The food is okey... nothing to shout about , but the staff are all very friendly.

Basically you are just simply paying for that experience to have a dinner while cruising the river of Chao Phraya.... which is really good. The price is a bit stiff but this is a one in a lifetime experience so it's worth it.

it depends where you are staying.... but I advice that you travel early to the place.... as the traffic jam can be very bad from 5pm onwards.

We started at the river city dock to board our ship, tables were neatly arranged and you had sticker badges beforehand so you would know which table number youwould sit at. The cruise starts promptly and food was delicious! It was a fusion ofamerican, thai and japanese cuisine, there is something for everyone! There is also entertainment on board, a jazz singer, a sax player, then dancing. The sights aboard the ship are amazing, you see theirbuildings uplit at night, though there are a few sectons where it is completely dark and there are no views to appreciate. Before we knew it the ship was turning around and before you warmed up on the dance flor, you are back at the dock. Definitely an authentic thai experience!

We booked the cruise through a booking agent and got the upper deck. The cruise was really lovely and the ambience they created was very good. The candle light dinner the live band with singer was a complete wow.But the food was not upto the mark..though the upper deck had International Cuisine but the lower deck was having Indian dinner, but both the sections were not delicious, perhaps leaving two or three dishes all were complete let down.
The Ride was enjoyable as U can enjoy the Bangkok beauty and along with it the live music with Dance.
Overall OK OK.

Greeted by staff within the shopping mall. Given orchid button hole to wear and photo taken with girl dressed in traditional thai costume. When the boats arrived it was like a mad scrum to board the boat, despite tables already being allocated. Our table was at the front of the boat. Lovely view of the river, Palace etc. People immediatley began queing for food - we like many on the tables around us decided to wait until the queues subsided. That was our first mistake - as soon as the people at the centre of the boat had finished eating they moved forward to the front of the boat to take photo's. They all pushed each other to get the best photos while we tried to eat our meal, which by this time was cold. I had one woman push her backpack into my face on two occasions - It was horrendous, overcrowded boats, with ill mannered people who cared little about those trying to eat their food. The young American couple on the next table left - as did we. Would I recommend this trip - NO, if you want a special dinner cruise, try the Anantara hotel - costs a little more but you won't be disappointed.
